Well it’s time I let the cat outta the bag...

I am officially the new Gambling Manager for the Miesville Lions Club. What does this mean for Stylin Pets? Not a ton will change.

I am not currently taking new clients and I’m adhering to size limits to give my body, hands and arms a break. I will be out of my shop a couple mornings a week but have been scheduling to learn to manage this since November.

This Covid-19 business has messed up my schedule though so I have to work at getting it back to where it was prior to the shut down.

I do recommend pre-booking appointments if you can or even just planning ahead to get your critters in before they enter the realm of hot messes!

Thank you to all of you for your constant and continuing patronage and support! I’m looking forward to this new added adventure! ❤️🥰❤️

Taken from a fellow groomer somewhere this fine country.

✂️Yes- grooming salons will reopen- at some point- it’s different for every state, every salon✂️

What can CLIENTS do, to help salons navigate a new 'normal' you ask?🤔

💥Know your dog was missed terribly and your dog groomer is grateful for your return 🙏🏻
💥Know safety measures were created for all involved.
💥Know the importance of coming **alone** as extra people compromises everyone.
💥Know your dog groomer cannot physically work 16 hour days 7 days a week, rest is essential for all..😴
💥Know your dog’s initial visit will take more time, and it may be a shorter version of the haircut that you are used to for them.
💥Know that coming in sick *isn’t* an option
💥Know that rescheduling hundreds of clients will take time...🤔⌚
💥Know that when you arrive you will need to wait until no other customers are in the salon for drop off
💥Know that your groomer is thrilled to see you, and even though she/he may *want* or *need* a hug, your presence, is the best hug ever. 😷
💥Know that your health and the groomers health is the biggest concern
💥Know that your groomer may choose to open at a later date than the state you’re in has allowed, being respectful of that decision takes an unimaginable load off his/ her brain and heart.
💥Know your groomer has already lost thousands of 💸💸 and has no desire to replace it with a ventilator for either of you, so plz be patient. ❤
💥Know that if your health is already high risk, you need to wait, your health is more important.
💥Know that your opinion of the entire situation won't change laws and rules necessary for everyone's safety so plz keep the conversation to your dogs current needs and how we can make them happy and healthy ❤
💥Know that while trying to connect with your groomer, there are hundreds of others attempting the same thing, responses will be slow coming as your groomer is preparing everything and answering everyone simultaneously
💥Know, above all else, no one is more excited about your arrival than your groomer- help make it the best appointment ever!!!🙏❤🙏❤🙏

Well, the shelter in place mandate has been extended until May 4th. This means Stylin pets is closed until then unless things change. If your pets have emergencies causing discomforted pain due to a grooming issue, you need to call your vet clinic. They are on mostly emergency calls only. Please be kind as this is nothing any of us want or can control. Asking for us to bend the rules puts our business at risk for a fine and a misdemeanor on personal records in some cases.

Due to the shelter in place rules stated by the governor, I will be closing up shop from March 27-April 10. If you have appointments during this time I will be calling you with a plan.

Please brush your dogs, I will NOT do dematting. If we have to go short and start over, that’s what we do. Comfort first.

Stay safe, follow guidelines and be healthy. I am here for you with any questions you may have.

Here are some rules I would like you to follow when coming in for grooming:

*please write checks and prepare cash ahead of time

*please hand leash thru the door and keep. Drop off and pick up quick.

*PLEASE CANCEL IF YOU HAVE ANY SYMPTOMS

I am spreading out clients so there is no overlap when picking up and dropping offs please be punctual to the time you are scheduled to pick up. If you get here and someone is picking up/dropping off wait your turn please!

Good Sunday Morning! I know this Virus is consuming social media and I swore I wouldn’t add to it, but here I am....Stylin Pets will remain open as needed BUT if you have ANY sickness, signs or symptoms, kindly cancel and wait to reschedule. REMEMBER my business is IN my home. My KIDS are in my home, my HUSBAND is in my home and we have older people to look after in our lives.

YOU ARE ALL IMPORTANT TO ME AS WELL AS YOUR PETS. If they have to wait a bit for their hair dos, it’s ok. If they get matted or knotty, it’s ok. If they are a little extra stinky, it’s ok. I will w**d, rake, comb and shave thru the messes as well as scrub the stink off of them when it is safe to do so. A little at home brushing goes a long way when ya can’t get to the groomer!

All I ask is that you call me and let me know if you’re not coming to a scheduled appointment as I hate wondering and worrying.
