🎉Mission Accomplished: 115 Cats TNVR'd! 🎉 This weekend was a monumental success for JJ’s Helping Paws and our amazing community! Between Friday and Saturday, 115 local felines were spayed/neutered and vaccinated. 🐾 Of these, 41 cats came from one single colony, an incredible step toward reducing overpopulation and improving their quality of life. This achievement was made possible through the dedication of our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) Program, which works tirelessly to improve the lives of community cats while addressing overpopulation in humane ways. 💙 A huge thank you to the staff at Wild Blue Cats from Black Forest for lending their time, expertise, and equipment, and for traveling here to make this event happen.💙 Gratitude to the Bergen Spay and Neuter Alliance for providing additional traps.💙 Shoutout to the Canon City Community Grant and a private donor for funding this lifesaving initiative.💙 Endless thanks to Russ and Wendy, who kept everyone fueled and happy with delicious meals throughout the event. We're so grateful for our TNR Director, Marcia, whose expertise and leadership played a critical role in organizing this event. Your passion inspires us all! 💛 We’re also thankful for our volunteer team, who worked tirelessly ensuring everything ran smoothly, and the community cat colony managers, who are key to improving these cats' lives. Check out this video showcasing the dozens of traps stacked high, the hardworking team members, and some of the beautiful faces of the cats who benefited from this effort. ❤️Together, we’re making a difference - one paw at a time. Thank you, Fremont County! 🐾#TNRSuccess #CommunityCats #WildBlueCats #FelineCare #SpayAndNeuter #MakingADifference #JJHelpingPaws
