This always happens.😂. A couple of days before a training class graduates, we all start getting a bit sad as these dogs have been an integral part of our lives for the past weeks. They have learned so much and it makes us elated that the diverse, disciplined, and vast training they have received will be invaluable as they continue to live their good, long life together alongside their owners. 😍😍😍

On Day 1 of our American Search & Rescue dog training seminar, experienced competitors/trainers are giving presentations on all the aspects of sport search and rescue; including how to achieve the optimal level of handler focus for obedience elements while also having subject loyalty and independent search!😀👍

Whether for sport, fun, or as a foundation for real SAR work, this seminar is teaching our guests, who have arrived from many different states, how to teach their dog tracking (the dog closely follows the footfalls of someone), area search (the dog ranges out in an open area to find live people), or mantrailing (the dog uses a multitude of scent sources to locate people, even in a city center).
