My last post explained how my original passion of horses was being placed on the back burner while my kiddos were little. I just found it hard to dedicate hours at a time and giving my complete concentration to a horse while at the same time having my littles ones by myself at my side 24/7. Through doing that though we have discovered new joys that I can share with them! So this page is switching gears! After a year of debating we have decided to start up a hatchery among other things!! 🥰 Now Cactus Flower Horse Co. is being renamed to Cactus Flower Farms so that I can incorporate all my farming passions! When the kids are older I’m sure I’ll get back into training but for now… this is us! 🥚🐣 🐓

I find myself constantly fighting the feelings of regret not being more involved in the business I wanted to create. I fight the feelings of missing the extra time I used to have to ride my horse and spending that quiet time in the saddle. But then I remember that this is just a season in my life. There will be time later for all the horse riding and training my heart desires. Right now my life is in a precious season of raising my small children. Spending every moment I can with them while I can is so very important to me. Wanting to be a stay at home mom is the reason I didn’t go down many other contemplated career paths. So There may not be much traffic on my page these days but just know that’s because my time, energy, and heart is being spent on much more precious things. 💕
