As they say........It's raining cats and dogs! All locations will be open until 6:00 PM today. We hope to be open tomorrow as long as we have power and will post updates on our face book pages. Conditions are supposed to rapidly deteriorate tonight.
Some tips to help keep your pets safe:
* Keep your pets inside.
* Make sure your gates and fences are secure before letting your dogs out or keep them on a leash.
* Keep collars on pets with id tags.
* Make sure your microchip company has updated phone numbers.
* If you have to evacuate because of flooding, take your pets with you and make sure they are secured in a carrier or leashed.
Please be weather aware and stay safe🐾❤️

She’s already started on her treatment which lasts about three months. Talk to the Shelter about foster-to-adopt options! Sunflower will make it worth your while. 😍

I"m Belle. I found myself dumped at the county shelter and so far my foster mom says I'm perfect. I'm sweet, playful, lovable and I do like to cuddle. I'm potty trained and I don't bark much. I'm a perfect young lady that is almost ready for my forever home!

Tuesday evening Southern Journey Animal Rescue & Transport, Inc. suffered a devastating loss. Their outbuildings caught fire, and they lost all their supplies. Thankfully they were able to move themselves and all the animals out of harm's way. Southern Journey is a 501c3 that was formed in 2014 and has saved over 10,000 dogs and puppies lives by transporting them to new homes in the Northeast. They lost all their transport crates, metal crates, runs, dog toys, bowls, dog beds, karunda beds, fencing, and transport equipment. We have been a sponsor of this rescue since its beginning and know how hard they have worked for 10 years to help homeless pets find a new home. They are beyond devastated💔
