Hats off to the OSU medical vets who took care of our mascot Gemi ❤️🐕. Turns out Gemi had a failing heart 💔 and not much time. They patched her up & she is good as new!!! Thank you hands down great experience despite the issue 🙏👏

Mystery Dog Illness - Although Ohio has no reported cases you can take extra steps to protect:
1) If visiting facilities with multiple dogs (dog parks, Vets offices, salons) bath &/or wash Paws well (antibacterial soap).

2) According to the AMVA, common symptoms of the respiratory illness in dogs include:
Chronic mild-moderate tracheobronchitis − a sudden/long-term inflammation of trachea & bronchial airways (according to Merck Veterinary Manual − lasts 6-8 wks. & antibiotics may not work.

**Difficulty or rapid breathing, wheezing, dehydration, fever, nasal or eye discharge, weight loss, loss of appetite and lethargy.

Mobile has NO Cages & the only surfaces are floor, table & tub which are sanitized weekly & daily.

Can you believe this is the same dog?? Problem fixed; client called said yeast? Special vet shampoo wash weekly! Friendly reminder: this is a rescue, not a show dog, do what’s best for him/her!! Hot Spots - no fun for the dog. It’s ok to shorten the coat, our highest priority is how does your dog feel when we pull away. ( #’s of hair & compacted coat gone, but still plenty fur)
