Hello everyone!

We have had a few inquiries regarding the pool opening this year.
Unfortunately we will not be able to open the pool this year. Hopefully we will have it open next year.

The pool is closing for the winter. This is the last weekend to get your swims in.
We will close the pool on October 4th for the winter.

Thanks to everyone who came out to splash and jump. We appreciate your business and look forward to seeing you all again next spring.

My September Agility Clinic on Sunday was rained out and rescheduled for this Friday from 7 to 9pm. I now have one opening. The clinic has only 6 teams so everyone gets several turns.
This clinic is using a 7 to 10 obstacle skills course numbered in various ways. We will be working on several sequences using only front crosses, then rear crosses, then blind crosses. We will then work on backside slices, backside wraps, and threadle throwbacks.
Lots of fun skills to practice and something for every level! Let me know if you are interested in the final spot. The cost is $65.

There are a few openings for agility teams at The Dog's Place! There is one opening in each class. Novice classes have dogs just beginning to trial. Beginner classes are learning handling and contacts. Puppy Class is for 6 months and older puppies.

Monday 7pm - Novice Agility
Tuesday 6 pm - Puppy Class
Tuesday 7 pm - Beginner Agility
Wednesday 11 am - Novice Agility

Actually it is a new one and has been working great.
The pool is open and there is plenty of time to come out and play!

Right now I have time Friday, Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon.

Cost is $25 for the first dog and $5 each additional dog. We take checks and cash.

I will be available to take new clients for the pool rentals starting on June 7th. If you have not been to our pool yet this year please sign up for your pool time between June 7th and June 18th.
For current pool renters, scheduling is the same as you have been doing this year.

The Dog's Place Dock Classes begin this Sunday, April 25th. The 11 am and 1 pm classes are filled. I have two openings in the 12-noon class. If you would like a spot, let me know in this post.
The session is four weeks long and each class is limited to only four teams so that everyone gets lots of help. Cost is $120 for the session. The next session will begin Sunday, June 13th and will last for four weeks also.

Dock diving / beginning swimming classes

We are starting 2 dock classes on Saturday, June 27th! No experience needed. Competition dogs welcome as well! Class size is limited to four teams so each dog gets individual attention. Times are 1:30pm and 2:30pm on Saturdays. Each session lasts for 4 weeks and cost is $120. Post below if you want to join. 14 week old Sting is in video. Five year old Shazam in photo.

The Dog's Place has an exciting announcement to make! One of our students, Kim Neff, earned her ADCH this weekend with her fabulous black terrier mix, Vegas! The ADCH is the agility championship given by the USDAA organization. Teams have to meet criteria in several events - Standard, Jumpers, Gamblers, Snooker, Pairs, Steeplechase, Grand Prix and DAM Team. It tests a variety of skills at the highest level and is a very special accomplishment! The Dog's Place is very proud of Kim and Vegas for achieving this challenging goal!
