We will be accepting walk ins for our existing clients starting this week!

Walk in services are available Monday-Friday from 9am-2pm Walk in Bath and Brush appointments are available if checked in by 12:30.

Walk in services do not require reservations but are performed on the spot first come first served. We reserve the right to refuse service if we are too busy with appointments or walk ins that arrive before you. Best practice is to call ahead to ensure availability.

Swipe to see the before! Often times we find that groomers are less experienced with doodles because they are a newer breed. Weā€™re confident in our doodle grooms because we maintain so many at the shop. Last year we saw over 2000 standard poodle mixes in our salon. To say weā€™ve figured out the best shape and style would be an understatement. The beauty of this groom is in the grow out. Notice how shaggy and crazy the groom grew out when coming from another salon? With this shape and pattern the pet grows out with easier maintenance and keeps that precious teddy bear look!

We hate to turn any customers away but unfortunately we are no longer able to accommodate walk ins or services that do not have a scheduled appointment. All of our bath and haircut services include nail filing with the dremel, ear plucking and cleaning, external gland expression, paw pad and sanitary shave, and a 15 minute brush out. Bath services are only $10-20 more than a walk in nail filing. Please call 678-894-5523 to schedule your appointments!

We are excited to announce pet grooming seminars and classes available this summer! We always offer grooming courses for those interested but I am really excited to be offering group courses in our new space! Iā€™ll post one video of me grooming a week in anticipation of our home maintenance seminar this coming June! In collaboration with Canine Confetti mobile grooming weā€™re excited to teach pet parents and pet professionals the ins and outs of grooming your pet at home between professional grooms in a shop!

Yā€™all ever seen a full haircut in a minute and a half???? This is Bri doing a mini groom at 10x speed!!!! In reality this full haircut took about 17 minutes. The time and money is spent in the prep work. The foundation of a great haircut is a great bath! Our raffle for hurricane relief was SO MICH FUN! We are proud to announce that we raised over $2000 to benefit the victims of Hurricane Helene and assist in pet rescue efforts in those areas! This would never have been possible without the generosity of our clients and our amazing community so thank you to everyone who purchased tickets and to everyone who showed up and everyone who participated in any capacity! We will be making our way to East Tennessee with our supply donations this weekend and canā€™t wait to keep you updated along the way. We will still be collecting donations through Friday this week so if youā€™d still like to contribute our drop off donations bring them by the salon!

This post is long overdue but worth waiting on her smock! Rustic Retreat Pet Spa would like to formally recognize and congratulate Alexis Willer on achieving her professional grooming certification! Alexis has been with the company for two years and has completed a rigorous internship, training, and testing of both technical grooming and animal handling skills. She is extremely patient, talented, and relaxed in her technique. Her laid back demeanor makes most pets feel at ease right away allowing top notch quality cuts and expert level care! We look forward to many years to come with Alexis grooming Tuesday-Friday and congratulate her on this amazing achievement! She worked hard for this! Weā€™re so proud! ā¤ļøšŸ™Œ

Unboxing shampoo!!!

As we come up to our final week at the old salon it is important to remember to SLOW DOWN when coming into the new shop. While turning right into the shop may seem like the easier option it is a VERY sharp turn into the driveway almost a u-turn so make sure youā€™re slowing down wayyyy in advance! We will be sending out messages as soon as we move and calling people before their appointments to make certain they know how to get here!

Excuse the exhaustion in my voice but weā€™re allllllmost done with paint.

First Peak at our new place! Sadly we will be pretty strict about pet parents walking through our gated off areas at the new shop. With daycare and grooming running simultaneously in the back we wonā€™t be permitting anyone past the front retail/check in area without a scheduled tour! Iā€™ll make more videos to show where all our kennels and doggy daycare will go as well as a property and house history video as it is a historical home in the area! We canā€™t wait to hopefully be open September 1 and will be updating our policies and procedures in the coming weeks so everyone is confident in how to drop off and pick up! We will DEFINITELY be holding an open house for our existing and potential clients to view and your the new space as soon as it is ready so stay posted!
