We are seeking a Kennel Attendant/grooming helper immediately, to help take care of the animals in our facility. We primarily deal with dogs and cats, but you should be familiar with animal care and grooming techniques for a variety of domesticated animals. You will be responsible for exercising dogs, feeding and bathing all animals, and keeping the kennels and common areas clean. Experience caring for animals, whether professionally or not, is crucial for this position. You also need to be physically fit to keep up with some of our more active animals.

Kennel Attendant/grooming helper Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Clean kennels and common areas

Play with animals and exercise dogs

Feed animals on a set schedule

Administer medications

Provide customer service

Bathe and brush dogs

Answer phones/Set appointments

Minimum wage to start..pay increase based on performance. Hours vary based on workload.. Must be available Monday - Saturday 7 till 4 and some Sundays.

This job can be mentally stressful and physically demanding. Must be able to lift at least 50 lb independently and possibly work up to 8 hours a day if needed. Need someone that can multitask.

Thank you everyone who has brought their pups (and Kitties) in to be pampered not just for Christmas but our loyal clients throughout the last year, it has been an absolute pleasure to meet, groom, watch your pup's grow and their little characters come out with their confidence.
