⭐️⭐️REUNITED⭐️⭐️

After 2 months and 3 days Kiwi is home! Where she hid was always a mystery to us. We had a few sightings early but she would not settle in one area for us to trap. The sightings were very scattered. We had the drone come out twice in different locations. We did have cameras up where she was sighted but she never came back to the area. Her family was so upset and the kids were heartbroken. Kiwi’s family never gave up! Every call, every possibility it could be her, they went to check to see. It was very emotional for the family. A wonderful lady had been feeding Kiwi and was able to keep her there until the family could get there. Her family sat on the ground and used calming signals. Kiwi layed on the ground and cried when she realized it was her family!
We want to thank Erika & Sean for flying the drone, Salem Campground for allowing cameras, all the people throughout the community that posted and called in sightings and the wonderful lady that had been feeding Kiwi! Thanks to CTDGRV Deb for her guidance. Never give up‼️ Today was Kiwi’s human brother’s birthday! What a great day!🎉

Westbrook lab Suki is home!! She was seen at a neighbors house and they called the owners. Owners went down there and had to search a bit to find her. They followed CTDGRV Melanie’s calming instructions. At first she barked at them and then finally approached! Welcome home Suki!!

This gentle, sweet and very skittish girl disappeared from her yard today. She is a grey and white retriever mix who looks like a Great Dane puppy. Do Not Call Out of Chase. Please phone in any sightings so we can get her home.

🎉 REUNITED 🎉

Dottie is safe and sound after one night of adventure, traveling across highways and busy roads. In collaboration with the East Hartford Animal, Glastonbury Animal Control, State Police and her previous owner, Dottie was caught. Thanks also to CTDGR volunteer Shana for supporting the family and to Karen for making sure town ACOs were made aware that she went missing. Welcome home Dottie.

Missing in Hartford-Fern St/UConn Campus Law School Area**

This very skittish little girl ran out the door before a leash could get on her. She was last seen running on the UConn law campus. She is extremely skittish and we are asking if you see her do not call out or chase her, she will run, which will put her in harms way. Also neighbors in the area could you please check your cameras, under your sheds, in garage, under decks and porches to see if she’s hiding under there.

The Fundraiser in Honor of Amber was an outstanding success!
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Steve and Nicole Wilson, Amber’s wonderful parents, for leading this fundraising event aimed at benefiting Woodbridge Animal Control and CT Dog Gone Recovery.
The turnout was incredible, showcasing remarkable support from the community. You organized a fantastic event in a remarkably short time.

We want to thank the good Samaritan that found her yesterday and kept her safe. She saw our post this morning and called the owner where they were just reunited.

🎉Reunited
Yuki was found! Someone spotted him behind McDonald’s. He was stuck in the woods. The good Samaritan called the number on the poster. The owner happen to be in the area, and was able to get him out of the woods. Thank you to the good Samaritan, who called in the sighting. Thank you Susan from CTDGR for your guidance and support.

This little guy has gone missing in the Main Street area after a gate was left open during a package delivery. He was last seen near Emmett Street. Please note that he is skittish. If spotted, please contact the number on the flyer immediately.

Toby has been reunited

Toby was safely captured by Bethel Animal Control! He’s now happily back home where he belongs. His tail hasn’t stopped wagging since his return! We are so grateful to everyone who kept an eye out and shared his picture. Thank you to Melissa from CTDGR for her guidance and support throughout the search. Toby is home, safe, and surrounded by love!

⭐️⭐️REUNITED⭐️⭐️
Drover has been safely rescued by CTDGRV Sharon! This sweet boy had found a lovely yard in a perfect neighborhood. The homeowners Britney, Pedro and their daughter Emersyn were incredibly kind, leaving food out for Drover to ensure he stayed in their yard.
Drover's mom, Ashley, along with his human siblings and CTDGRV Joe, put up posters around the area, leading to several sightings of him. It seems he was most active during dusk.
We are overjoyed that this sweet boy is safe and sound!
A heartfelt thank you to all the wonderful neighbors and everyone who assisted in this effort. Special thanks to Jessie, a friend of CTDGR who lives nearby, for helping Ashley when sightings were reported.
We also appreciate CTDGRV Patti for her guidance and support, Joe for his help with the posters, and especially to Sharon for setting the trap so quickly, which led to Drover's safe return within hours.
This was truly a community effort.

Missing in Mansfield Center:
This sweet boy went missing when he jumped his fence. He is friendly, but may be a little nervous out there on his own. If you see him, try to drop to the ground and have him come to you. He is wearing a collar with tags with contact information for his owner.

Update: This is an extremely fearful dog. If you chase her she will run. This can push a dog out of a known area, which is the situation right now, or worse and into traffic where she can get hit by a car. Last known direction shunpike/ Elm st area. If you see her call the number immediately with the exact location ie. street address, name of the business, or nearest cross st and behavior of the dog. Do not post sightings we need to keep the known area quiet. Call. Thank you and appreciate your cooperation with this situation.

Lost dog Rocky Hill. She is not a dog that will come to people. Please do not call out or chase. She will run from you. If you see her the number on the flyer immediately with her exact location and what she is doing. Provide a street number if possible, or cross road, and direction of travel. If you are a business or residence in the area please check your cameras. We believe we will need to set up a trap for her. Please share and help us bring this pup home.

Reggie is back home! The gentleman who found him called the owner and returned him. They were so happy to see the post. They did not even want the reward. They were just so happy to reunite Reggie with his mom.

$$ REWARD $$ for his safe return, no questions asked‼️
This sweet boy is wearing a green harness with no tags. He went missing in the area around Laurel Street. He was last seen there Family Dollar.
He may have been picked up by two men.
The owner just wants him back safe and sound. He is very loved and very missed. If anybody has any information, please call the number on the flyer.

Greetings from CT Dog Gone Recovery! We are excited to announce a new project that we've been discussing for several months. Our initiative will focus on creating various videos aimed at educating the public and preventing dogs from going missing. We believe it is crucial to take proactive steps to keep dogs safe, so we will produce tip videos geared towards prevention. Additionally, we will offer guidance on what to do if your dog goes lost. Our content will include preventive, educational, and interactive videos. While some will be pre-recorded, we also plan to host live streaming sessions where we can answer questions and gather feedback on what topics you’d like to explore next. We truly appreciate each of you and look forward to getting to know you better, just as we hope you will learn more about us. To kick things off, we have a brief introductory video that shares our journey and mission. We are a registered 501(c)(3) organization in Connecticut, affiliated with Dog Star Rescue, but we operate independently. Our primary focus is lost dog recovery.
