It’s with a heavy heart that we tell you Griff was found deceased by his owner this morning. Griff was not found far from where he was last seen and his owner believes he must have had a medical emergency. His owner looked all night long and didn’t leave the park- we are so sorry for your loss. Our deepest sympathies to his family.

Please check your fences before you let your dogs out in your yard. Please make sure your gates and doors are secure. Keep your walks short with your dog.

💥Jackson has been found and is home safe!💥

We had zero sightings the day after the accident because of the bad weather. Numerous sightings started coming in on Thursday in the Westview Rd./Plaza Road/Day Street neighborhood. The owners were out there all day long, but Jackson chose to be very elusive! Today we got a sighting from Cary on Westview but Jackson left her yard and managed to get himself fenced in at the new storage area behind CVS. His owners were able to get there and get him on leash and he’s now safe! Thank you to Cary for your sighting this morning, to the Westview Rd/Plaza St/Day Street neighbors that called in sightings, to Mobil Xrtamart for all your help, to all the other people that also called in sightings from other areas, and to Spiros and Christa for allowing a trap. A huge thank you goes out to Jackson‘s family Kim, Nick, Pete, Sarah, to Nick‘s friend Josh and to CTDGRV Sharon for all being so dedicated to finding this sweet boy! Jackson is one lucky boy to have such an amazing family!

Missing in Brooklyn!
This handsome boy was in a car that was involved in an accident in front of Walmart. When the car began smoking and catching fire the owner had to remove herself and her three dogs. He was very scared and managed to run. Please do not try to catch him.
Please check in garages, sheds and outbuildings, and under decks and porches. Check anywhere he can take shelter from the weather. Call in sightings immediately to the number on the flyer.

Milo is home safe! The family received a phone call that he was spotted running around an area. They went to the area and Milo did not recognize them at first. The family was very patient and remained calm and they were eventually able to get Milo to come to them. Once Milo realized who it was, he had lots of kisses for everybody. We are so happy he’s home safe and sound.

This sweet boy somehow escaped from a fenced-in yard. He is missing from the Orford Road area. He was last seen wearing red pajamas. If spotted, please do not chase or call out; instead, call the number on the flyer immediately.

🎉Scout has been reunited🎉
After a quick run around town Scout decided it was time to get home! This smart girl was able to find her way home and she walked right in the front door. Thank you to CTDGRS Melissa, Jill and Bonnie for your quick response and guidance!

❄️🐶 With the approaching, some families are going on well-deserved . We can’t always take our dogs and some of us may hire pet sitters or ask friends to watch them while we’re gone.

👇Here are some tips when leaving your dogs with a pet-sitter:

1️⃣ Get referrals and references.
2️⃣ Ask them to meet your dog several times before you leave.
3️⃣ Don't allow the pet sitter to have them off-leash. They will not act the same with a stranger as they will with you.
4️⃣ Have them double-leash your dogs: a leash attached to a well-fitted martingale (non-slip) collar with another leash attached to a well-fitted harness or a slip lead.
5️⃣ If they have a fenced-in yard, check the fence to make sure there are no gaps.

🚫NEVER allow the dog outside (even in a fenced-in area) unattended.

Please, take care of your dogs and don’t just hire anyone. Your dog is counting on you! ❤️🐶
