Don’t forget to grab any last minute tickets for our sporting clays lunch and raffle! Different ticket tiers are available as well as a raffle only ticket option! The weather is going to beautiful and the day will be a lot of fun! Plus, you are helping a local volunteer chapter improve the habitat not just for pheasants, but also for waterfowl, deer, turkey, honey bees, and so much more!

Just a reminder to all club members the work party for the Dundee property is tomorrow at 8am. Lunch will be provided! Bring any tools you feel may be needed. We will need multiple chainsaws and w**d eaters if possible.

It’s not quite hunting season but that hasn’t stopped several members from getting their dogs out to the club’s Dundee property to train their dogs this summer! Also the sunflowers are looking great and we are seeing a good population of doves in the area should be a great hunting season come September. If any members are interested in coming out for organized dog training days feel free to message this page or contact Kris Hendershot.

Attention GRA members we will be having our spring general meeting at 7pm on Tuesday May 10th at Sippo Lake Exploration Gateway at 5712 12th St NW, Canton, OH 44708. Remember to support the club and buy the fundraiser raffle tickets and turn them in before the meeting on Tuesday. Also we will be having a work party on May 14th at the club’s Dundee property feel free to contact a trustee to ask any questions concerning what tools may be needed to be brought by members. Look forward to seeing everyone on Tuesday!

Spring is finally here and for some bird dog owners that means training season is here! If you are a member of the GRA please reach out through messenger if you are interested in getting in some training in the coming months. We are trying to coordinate monthly training days at our Dundee property where we can utilize the pigeons as well as possibly other gamebirds. Some pictures of members and their dogs that have already been hard at work and looking very good this spring.

Hello all! It is thanksgiving week and that meant the thanksgiving public pheasant release on the Dundee public hunting fields! This map show all of the locations birds will be released out at the Dundee location! Parking for the upper field is located at Dundee falls parking lot, and the field is a few hundred yards straight in across the river! There is a large number of birds being released on Wednesday night followed by 1 more release for on December 10th! The fields look SPECTACULAR this year for bird shelter and all of the fields have mowed strips for those unable to walk in the higher cover! So grab your kids, nieces and nephews, cousins, grandkids, and get outdoors with them thanksgiving morning chasing the flush of some roosters! I will be out with my dog, alongside some other GRA members that will be helping create a safe, realistic upland hunting experience for our friends and family that don’t normally get to experience this amazing time!

Kris got out yesterday with some young hunters and I got out today with frank to get two new hunters and one rather experienced youth hunter some Ohio limits on pheasants! The birds were plentiful, and the public land around the clubhouse is holding birds wonderfully! Memories were made and I will personally never forget the pure excitement on the new hunters face when they saw their first pheasants fall!!

Hello all! It is finally time to start releasing pheasants for our youth hunters(under 18 years old) weekends the 23-24, and the 30-31st!
