Whilomena came to us with bladder stones that were causing her to strain to urinate and have bloody urine. We were able to get all of the stones out successfully and she’s on the road to recovery!

We have an exciting announcement to share!

We have a new surgeon!

Dr. Anthony Acquaviva will be joining us this January as a full time surgeon. We couldn’t be more excited for his arrival and the benefits it will bring to our practice. Above all, he shares our vision and values and believes in working his hardest to provide the best outcome for the pet and the owners.

Dr. Acquaviva is a board-certified veterinary surgeon. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2006. He then completed two internships followed by a surgical residency at Iowa State University in 2011.

He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. His clinical interests include stifle surgery (TPLO, lateral suture, patella luxations), fracture management, oncologic surgery, abdominal surgery, thoracic surgery, and many other aspects of orthopedic and soft tissue surgery.

Tiny little Suki had a complicated fracture that required a plate and ring fixater to repair. She’s doing great!

Rusty had his leg amputated by us two years ago due to an improperly healed fracture that happened before he was rescued. As you can see, he doesn’t seem to know it’s missing! Way to go Rusty!!

Sweet Nala came to us with a tidal tuberosity avulsion fracture. We were able to place some pins to stabilize the fracture. After a few weeks of rest and healing, she will be as good as new!

Happy National dog day!

Believe it or not, these aren’t the same pup! We saw two of the cutest Bernese mountain dog puppies within a few weeks for the same injury! They’re both doing great!
