We have received many calls about the new respiratory virus in dogs. At this time, we are recommending ownere have all vaccines current, especially Kennel cough and influenza vaccines if your pet goes around other dogs. If you have to go around other dogs, be cautious of other pets and make sure your pet is healthy prior to a necessary travel. For questions or concerns, feel free to reach out. This infection resembles other respiratory pathogens. So far, ohio is not on the list of states with infections. Some of the symptoms include cough, eye drainage, fever, lethargy and trouble breathing. We are continuing to monitor this mystery respiratory disease and will keep you updated.
