Having a emergency is stressful enough without worrying about if your horse will load! Even if your horse usually walks right on, come get some tips and tricks of what to do when things don't go as planned!

!!! TRAILER LOADING CLINIC !!!
On MARCH 8TH, 2025 Rivendell Veterinary Care and Honeydew Acres will co-host a trailer-loading clinic. Our clinician is DJ Murtaugh of London, ON. He will open up his large bag of tricks of how to get a flight animal to walk into a dark cave. Multiple horses and different trailers will be used for the demonstration. Fergus and Festus recently went in to Great Camp Santanoni! Festus thought it was a great adventure, while Fergus thought the hills were really big. Many thanks to Eric Warner at Ever Pleasant Acres for getting us going with this team and to Larry from Newcombe Farm for his support on our adventure! We are hoping to go back a few times this season, so if you see Fergus and Festus out of the trail, be sure to say "Hello". :)

Last week at camp (and before winter's return) we got to trial the new barrel train! Peggy has some finishing touches planned, but the barrel train will be making it's big debut on Derby Day, Saturday May 4th. Hope to see you there!
