She earned more versatility points than prior years and she earned her Junior Trail Horse title ❤️ Next year will be baby raising and then reconditioning after she weans so it will be Natty's turn to shine!

Callie received a pregnancy checkup and rhino vaccination at the veterinarian's office this morning.

Her companion Bella was also examined to initiate breeding preparations. Having just ovulated, Bella will receive Lutalyse this Saturday and undergo a follow-up examination next Friday. Breeding is anticipated over next weekend, which will bring much delight to Natty.

Natty's show story:
Ivy and I started off the day doing RMHA Western pleasure class together. The goal was to get him in the arena with Callie (emotional support horse) for the first time that day. Callie had already been in to do the flag presentation,but he didn't get that opportunity. He was a little excited, but he kept it together and even did his back and 360° pivot pretty well!

His 2nd class was Open Gaited Breed Novice horse 2 gait. It was a good sized class with 5 or 6 horses in it. He took 3rd! I was pretty tickled ❤️ Ivy did a great job riding him in show gait and pleasure gait.

Natty's 3rd class was Ladies country trail pleasure with Ivy in the irons again. He took 2nd in a class of 3 against some real nicely gaited competition.

Natty's 4th class was Amateur country trail with me in the irons. He was such a gem. We had a wonderful ride and came away with 1st out of 2 total horses.

And lastly, Natty got to redo his RMHA 3 year old country trail class ridden by Ivy and he was phenomenal even if he was the only one in the class.

Saturday was Callie's and my 2nd ILHA liberty horse show. We did a freestyle for fun. As expected, we placed 6th out of 6. Everyone who does these is so amazing and has cool tricks and a great connection with their horses. Callie and I are working up to being that good. Anyway, here's our Witcher performance down to Chris Chronos rendition of Toss a Coin to Your Witcher. We had an absolute blast!

How Natty preps for the International show at the Kentucky Horse Park

Two of my Rockies just made a long trip to Arizona. On the trip west they had to stand patiently tied to the trailer while we waited for tire service due to a blow out. Callie is a mare and Natty is a 3 year old stallion who has bred a mare before. She is not in season, but look how nicely behaved Natty is during the ordeal ❤️ We had to wait here for a little over 2 hours.
