Hey friends! 📜 AlterClinic Animal Care is in need of your old newspapers! 🐶🐱 These papers are super helpful for lining kennels and keeping our furry friends comfy and clean while they’re here for their spay/neuter care.

If you’ve got a stack of yesterday’s headlines lying around, why not let them go to a paw-some cause? 🐾💕

You can drop them off at 2302 Fulton Rd NW Mondays through Saturdays, 9am to 3pm. Every little bit helps us continue providing care to the pets and strays in our community.

🎉 Kicking off the year with kindness! 🎉

Thanks to an amazing anonymous donor, we’re offering a $10 TNR Package from January 13–23, 2025! 🐾

✅ Includes spay/neuter, rabies and FVRCP vaccines, ear tip, and a dose of selamectin (flea prevention). 🐱 Cats must come in an appropriately-sized humane trap & return to their original outdoor home.

New in 2025, AlterClinic Animal Care will be closed the first Tuesday of each month from 9:00am to 10:00am for a staff meeting. During this time, our phones will be off and our doors will be locked.

Today is the first staff meeting of the new year. Our doors will re-open at 10:00am.

💖🐾 Pawsitively Fixed with Love! 🐾💖
We’re teaming up with Friends of Stark Pound - FOSP to offer FREE spay/neuter surgeries for 25 bully breed dogs and 25 other dogs in February 2025—thanks to the generous support of South Side Automotive! 🚗🐶

🐕 Here’s the scoop:
✅ Dogs must be owned (no fosters/rescues)
✅ 3+ months old and any females must be under 100 lbs
✅ One dog per household

💲 A $30 refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot.

✨ Don’t wait! Spots are first-come, first-served, and they’ll go fast. Appointments will not be reserved without a deposit. Call us at 234-804-3064 to schedule your pup’s appointment today!

Please note that our public hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are only able to in-person schedule appointments for this promotion during our public hours. If you come before 9:00am or after 3:00pm, we will ask that you return a different day or call in and leave a voicemail.

🐾 Calling All Cat Lovers! 🐾

Our TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) program is working hard to help community cats live healthier lives, but we need your help! 🙏

We’re running low on wet cat food, and our whiskered friends are counting on us to keep their tummies full while they recover. 🐱💕 Wet food is not only a treat for them—it’s essential for their nutrition during this important time.

We are unable to accept any more TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) cats today. We will resume accepting TNR cats on Monday. Thank you for your understanding and support as we continue to care for our community's feline friends! 🐾

Our clinic is in need of bath towels to use during surgeries for our furry patients. 🐶🐱 These towels help keep them safe and comfortable while they’re in our care.

We’re NOT looking for rags or hand towels at this time, but gently used bath towels would be a huge help! 💖

Week of 12/23/24 – 12/28/24
📅 TNR Notice: No TNR cats will be accepted this week.
✨ Wednesday, 12/25: Closed for Christmas. 🎅🎁
✨ All other days: Normal hours, with the exception of TNR (TNR is closed for the week)

Week of 12/30/24 – 1/4/25
✨ Wednesday, 1/1/25: Closed for New Year’s Day. 🎉
✨ All other days: Normal hours for all services.

We will be only taking 20 TNR cats total today and stopping TNR intake at 12:00pm (noon), whichever comes first. It is recommended to call us before bringing in TNR today to make sure we will be able to accept.

AlterClinic Animal Care will be closed from Wednesday, November 27th, through Sunday, December 1st, 2024, so our hardworking team can enjoy some much-needed time with family, friends, and furry loved ones! ❤️🐾

Special Note:
Our Wellness Clinic will be open by appointment only on Wednesday, November 27th, so if your pet needs care before the holiday, be sure to schedule in advance!

We'll be back to our regular schedule on Monday, December 2nd, 2024.

🐱 Cat Food Needed! 🐱

Our TNR cats count on us twice a day for their meals, and our food supplies are running low! We need donations of dry and wet cat food to keep these sweet kitties fed and happy.

ATTENTION CANTON WARDS 4 and 6. AlterCat volunteers are returning to your Wards THIS Sunday, October 13 to trap cats with no owners. If you are aware of a colony in these neighborhoods, please share that information with AlterCat by emailing [email protected].

IMPORTANT: If you normally provide food for outdoor cats in these Wards, PLEASE do not feed them after 12 noon on Saturday, October 12 or until after 10 pm Sunday night.

ALSO IMPORTANT... If you have a pet cat who likes to spend some time outside, you must keep them inside your home during the hours we are trapping.
