Week of 12/23/24 – 12/28/24
📅 TNR Notice: No TNR cats will be accepted this week.
✨ Wednesday, 12/25: Closed for Christmas. 🎅🎁
✨ All other days: Normal hours, with the exception of TNR (TNR is closed for the week)

Week of 12/30/24 – 1/4/25
✨ Wednesday, 1/1/25: Closed for New Year’s Day. 🎉
✨ All other days: Normal hours for all services.

We will be only taking 20 TNR cats total today and stopping TNR intake at 12:00pm (noon), whichever comes first. It is recommended to call us before bringing in TNR today to make sure we will be able to accept.

AlterClinic Animal Care will be closed from Wednesday, November 27th, through Sunday, December 1st, 2024, so our hardworking team can enjoy some much-needed time with family, friends, and furry loved ones! ❤️🐾

Special Note:
Our Wellness Clinic will be open by appointment only on Wednesday, November 27th, so if your pet needs care before the holiday, be sure to schedule in advance!

We'll be back to our regular schedule on Monday, December 2nd, 2024.

🐱 Cat Food Needed! 🐱

Our TNR cats count on us twice a day for their meals, and our food supplies are running low! We need donations of dry and wet cat food to keep these sweet kitties fed and happy.

ATTENTION CANTON WARDS 4 and 6. AlterCat volunteers are returning to your Wards THIS Sunday, October 13 to trap cats with no owners. If you are aware of a colony in these neighborhoods, please share that information with AlterCat by emailing [email protected].

IMPORTANT: If you normally provide food for outdoor cats in these Wards, PLEASE do not feed them after 12 noon on Saturday, October 12 or until after 10 pm Sunday night.

ALSO IMPORTANT... If you have a pet cat who likes to spend some time outside, you must keep them inside your home during the hours we are trapping.

LOT’S and lot’s of TNR cats this week. We have run through our food to feed.
Each cat is fed twice a day while they are with us. That’s a lot of food. Both dry cat food and wet (pate preferred).

🌟Exciting Updates 🌟

Dear friends and supporters, we are excited to share that we are planning some essential renovations to improve our clinic for our clients, our patients, and our staff. We are focusing on three key projects:

1️⃣ Lobby and Reception Area Remodel - we want to create a new welcoming and comfortable space for all of our visitors. As our capacities and services have expanded, we have outgrown our current lobby. In order to maintain a comfortable and functional lobby and reception space for our valued clients, we are needing to make some renovations to the front desk area to allow for the expansion of the lobby.

2️⃣ TNR Suite Remodel - Since opening our TNR program full-time October 31, 2022, our clinic has performed 9,812 spay/neuter surgeries for community cats in our local and nearby communities (as of September 22, 2024). The space used for TNR right now is in desperate need of renovations to create a more efficient space for the services offered and a more comfortable space for the housing of TNR cats in our care.

3️⃣ New Entrance/Exit Doors - The safety of our clients, patients, and staff is our top priority. We are installing new entrance and exit doors to significantly enhance security by probiding better access control and reducing the risk of accidents. These doors will help create a more secure environment while minimizing stress for our furry friends.

You have all been so generous in the past. Once again we are in need of LARGE BATH TOWELS and/or BEACH towels.
We have an abundance of blankets, sheets and small hand towels and rags. Thank you, but we don't need those at this time, nor do we have space to store them.
