This promotion is for pit bull type dogs that reside in Cuyahoga County only.

Want to get your pit bull fixed? I'm looking to sponsor NINE pit bull spay or neuters. Please review the rules below.

- Send a message to me on [email protected] or on this Help for Cleveland Pet Owners page and I will get you in touch with the spay/neuter clinic for scheduling.

- The spay/neuter slots will be available on March 21st. You’ll have to drop your dog off PROMPTLY at 7:00 AM EST in Parma Heights for transport. And, you’ll have to pick up your dog PROMPTLY at 5:00 PM EST at the same location. The surgeries will take place at the Alter Clinic in Canton, OH and the dogs will be transported back and forth from this Parma Heights location.

- You must live in Cuyahoga County and your pit bull must be less than five years old.

- You will have to pay the Clinic $30 directly to hold the slot.

- The surgery will be covered!

A HUGE thank you to all who are helping on this initiative! We’re in this one together and all hands are on deck to slow the flow of these types of dogs into local shelters.

🚨 TNR Update! 🚨

Wow! We have been absolutely overrun with adorable feline visitors this week for our TNR program! 🐱💕 Due to the overwhelming number of kitties coming through our doors, we cannot accept any walk-in TNR cats tomorrow, January 30th, unless you already have an appointment scheduled.

Appointments will only be held until 12:00pm (noon).

We appreciate your understanding and support as we work hard to help as many community cats as possible! 🐾 TNR will resume taking walk-in drop-offs and appointments next Monday.

🎉 Our $10 TNR promotion has been extended by one week! 🐾

Now running through January 30th, 2025, to accommodate trappers who are unable to safely catch in next week’s chilly weather.

We encourage those who can safely trap and recover cats next week to continue doing so, as every cat spayed/neutered makes a difference. 💛

TNR in the winter months is especially important because it helps control the feral cat population, meaning fewer kittens born in the spring. We are already seeing pregnant females. 🐾🌸 Let’s work together to make a big impact!

As a reminder, a trap should never be left unattended while trapping - no matter the weather! Let’s keep our furry friends safe. 🐱

Stay safe, stay warm, and let’s keep kicking off the year with kindness! 💛

Hey friends! 📜 AlterClinic Animal Care is in need of your old newspapers! 🐶🐱 These papers are super helpful for lining kennels and keeping our furry friends comfy and clean while they’re here for their spay/neuter care.

If you’ve got a stack of yesterday’s headlines lying around, why not let them go to a paw-some cause? 🐾💕

You can drop them off at 2302 Fulton Rd NW Mondays through Saturdays, 9am to 3pm. Every little bit helps us continue providing care to the pets and strays in our community.

We’re teaming up with Friends of Stark Pound - FOSP to offer FREE spay/neuter surgeries for 25 bully breed dogs and 25 other dogs in February 2025—thanks to the generous support of South Side Automotive! 🚗🐶

🐕 Here’s the scoop:
✅ Dogs must be owned (no fosters/rescues)
✅ 3+ months old and any females must be under 100 lbs
✅ One dog per household

💲 A $30 refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot.

✨ Don’t wait! Spots are first-come, first-served, and they’ll go fast. Appointments will not be reserved without a deposit. Call us at 234-804-3064 to schedule your pup’s appointment today!

Please note that our public hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 3:00pm. We are only able to in-person schedule appointments for this promotion during our public hours. If you come before 9:00am or after 3:00pm, we will ask that you return a different day or call in and leave a voicemail.

Our clinic is in need of bath towels to use during surgeries for our furry patients. 🐶🐱 These towels help keep them safe and comfortable while they’re in our care.

We’re NOT looking for rags or hand towels at this time, but gently used bath towels would be a huge help! 💖
