Would your puppy enjoy joining these 2 boys in play? Join us this Wednesday at 6pm at Stark Animal Hospital for our weekly puppy social! This is a great opportunity for your puppy to meet other puppies, learn important social skills such as when to start and stop play and how to safely play, as well as be exposed to other people all while having a positive experience at a vet clinic! Have a nervous or shy puppy? Please bring them! It's important for your puppy to overcome their fears now while they are still in the quickly-closing socialization period. If they are fearful after 18 weeks of age they may be fearful the rest of their life. Join Canton's fear and aggression expert and learn how to help your puppy overcome their fears! Hey ya'll! Dr. Misner here! We are excited to add a new option for our allergy patients at Stark Animal Hospital. If your cat or dog is itchy, constantly licking, has recurrent ear/skin infections, or persistent vomiting/diarrhea, serum allergy testing may be beneficial for your pet. The test includes 92 allergens that are most commonly found in our area, including environmental, indoor, and food allergens. In order to get the most accurate test results and response, your pet must be over 2 years old and have year round allergies. After the test results return, your pet will be started on all natural immunotherapy (injectable or oral) to help alleviate your pet's clinical signs. When we combine immunotherapy with dietary modifications, we see improvement in 90% of pets! If you have more questions or would like to schedule testing for your pet, reach out to our friendly staff!
