BREAKING: Donald Trump has a total meltdown after Ontario implements a 25% surcharge on electricity in retaliation for his tariffs — whines that "your not even allowed to do that" and announces a "National Emergency on Electricity."

President Deals is really circling the drain now...

"Despite the fact that Canada is charging the USA from 250% to 390% Tariffs on many of our farm products, Ontario just announced a 25% surcharge on 'electricity,' of all things, and your not even allowed to do that," Trump wrote on Truth Social.

Apparently, he thinks that there are rules of fair play to a trade war and that Canada should simply take their licks without hitting back.

The surcharge was implemented under Ontario's Premier Doug Ford, who called Trump's tariffs a "disaster for the U.S. economy" that are "making life more expensive for American families and businesses."

"Until the threat of tariffs is gone for good, Ontario won’t back down. We’ll stand strong, use every tool in our toolkit and do whatever it takes to protect Ontario," said Ford.

The surcharge affects some 1.5 million homes and businesses in Michigan, Minnesota, and New York and will cost roughly $400,000 a day.

"Because our Tariffs are reciprocal, we’ll just get it all back on April 2," Trump continued in his post, once again displaying a profound ignorance as to how tariffs work.

"Canada is a Tariff abuser, and always has been, but the United States is not going to be subsidizing Canada any longer," he added. "We don’t need your Cars, we don’t need your Lumber, we don’t your Energy, and very soon, you will find that out. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!!!"

Of course, if the United States really didn't need Canada's electricity, Trump wouldn't be throwing a fit over the new surcharge. The fact that he's this upset about it proves that we do need that electricity.

And he wasn't done there. Trump followed up the post hours later—

"Based on Ontario, Canada, placing a 25% Tariff on 'Electricity' coming into the United States, I have instructed my Secretary of Commerce to add an ADDITIONAL 25% Tariff, to 50%, on all STEEL and ALUMINUM COMING INTO THE UNITED STATES FROM CANADA, ONE OF THE HIGHEST TARIFFING NATIONS ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD," he wrote on Truth Social. "This will go into effect TOMORROW MORNING, March 12th."

The stock market is already cratering thanks to Trump's disastrous tariffs. Imagine how bad it's going to get if he implements more...

"Also, Canada must immediately drop their Anti-American Farmer Tariff of 250% to 390% on various U.S. dairy products, which has long been considered outrageous," he continued.

"I will shortly be declaring a National Emergency on Electricity within the threatened area. This will allow the U.S to quickly do what has to be done to alleviate this abusive threat from Canada," Trump added.

It's unclear what this "National Emergency" declaration will actually entail but it's worth noting that we never required anything like this under President Biden. We took it for granted that when we flipped a switch in our living room, the lights would turn on.

"If other egregious, long time Tariffs are not likewise dropped by Canada, I will substantially increase, on April 2nd, the Tariffs on Cars coming into the U.S. which will, essentially, permanently shut down the automobile manufacturing business in Canada," Trump went on. "Those cars can easily be made in the USA!"

"Also, Canada pays very little for National Security, relying on the United States for military protection. We are subsidizing Canada to the tune of more than 200 Billion Dollars a year. WHY???" he added "This cannot continue."

It was then that Trump pivoted to his favorite, idiotic idea: the United States annexing our neighbor to the north.

"The only thing that makes sense is for Canada to become our cherished Fifty First State. This would make all Tariffs, and everything else, totally disappear," he wrote. "Canadians’ taxes will be very substantially reduced, they will be more secure, militarily and otherwise, than ever before, there would no longer be a Northern Border problem, and the greatest and most powerful nation in the World will be bigger, better and stronger than ever — And Canada will be a big part of that."

"The artificial line of separation drawn many years ago will finally disappear, and we will have the safest and most beautiful Nation anywhere in the World — And your brilliant anthem, 'O Canada,' will continue to play, but now representing a GREAT and POWERFUL STATE within the greatest Nation that the World has ever seen!" he continued.

This insane demand is proof positive that Trump is suffering from egregious delusions of grandeur. He pictures himself as an emperor overseeing an ever-expanding American empire.

In reality, Canada has zero interest in joining the United States. They are their own nation, with a proud history, culture, and civic structure. Why would they want to become part of a country overseen by a doddering, ignorant old man?

Donald Trump is one of the worst leaders in world history. Canadians are lucky that they don't have to suffer his leadership.

BREAKING: JD Vance’s own cousin takes a flamethrower to what’s left of his reputation — says that he’s “disappointed” in him for twisting America into “Vladimir Putin’s useful idiots.”

And the cousin, who fought in Ukraine, wasn’t done there…

“Being your family doesn’t mean I’m going to accept you killing my comrades,” Nate Vance, a former Marine said in an interview with Le Figaro.

A Texan, he revealed that he volunteered and fought in Ukraine against the Russians on the front lines for three years.

He and JD share grandparents and even vacationed together in the past. Nate stated that he has tried to contact JD but has not received a response.

He slammed Donald Trump and the vice president for betraying Ukraine by attacking Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in the Oval Office and then cutting off military aid and intelligence sharing to Ukraine.

“When [JD Vance] criticized aid to Ukraine, I thought it was because he needed to appeal to his electorate, that it was part of the political game,” Nate Vance stated in an interview with Le Figaro. “But what they did to Zelensky was an ambush of absolute dishonesty.”

“Donald Trump and my cousin clearly think they can placate Vladimir Putin,” he added. “They are wrong. The Russians are not about to forget our support for Ukraine. We are Vladimir Putin’s useful idiots.”

It’s nice to see that at least one member of the Vance family is standing firmly on the right side of history. JD and Trump will go down as cowards and traitors of the worst sort.

BREAKING: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy breaks his silence on Donald Trump's disastrous Oval Office outburst with stunning grace and class — but refuses to apologize to Trump as demanded by MAGA.

And the best part? He did it on Fox News.

This is what a real world leader sounds like...

"President Trump said after your meeting that you disrespected him and the vice president and all of America in the Oval Office," said Fox News' Bret Baier when Zelenskyy appeared on his show. "Do you think you did? And do you think you owe an apology to President Trump?"

"Thank you so much. First of all, thank you for the invitation, for this dialogue and good evening to all of your country, to all Americans," said Zelenskyy. "I'm very thankful to Americans for all your support. You did a lot. I'm thankful to President Trump and to Congress's bipartisan support and I was always very thankful from all of our people."

"You helped us a lot from the very beginning, here in three years of full scale invasion. You helped us to survive and anyway we are strategic partners," he continued.

"And even in such tough dialogue — and I think we have to be very honest and we have to be very direct to understand each other because it's for us very necessary," said Zelenskyy.

"To President Trump — and with all respect that he wants to finish this war — but nobody wants to finish more than we because we in Ukraine we are in this war, we are in this battle for freedom, for our lives," he went on.

"So I'm just telling that I think we have to be on the same side and I hope that the president on our side together with us and that is very important to stop Putin," continued Zelenskyy. "And I heard from President Trump a lot of times that he will stop the war and I hope he will. And we need to pressure him with Europe, with all the partners."

"And I think this dialogue had to be a little bit earlier to understand where we are," he continued. "Like you know, I don't remember exactly, but like President Reagan said that peace is not just the absence of war."

"Yes, we are speaking about just, lasting peace, about freedom, about justice, about human rights and that's why I said that 'I think so' to ceasefire," he went on. "And you know Putin, he's broken twenty-five times ceasefire during all these years, ten years."

"So I'm not hearing from you Mr. President a thought that you owe the president an apology," said Baier, clearly trying to pander to Trump who was almost certainly watching at home.

"No I respect the president and I respect the American people and if — I don't know, I think that we have to be very open and very honest and I'm not sure that we did something bad," replied Zelenskyy.

"I think maybe somethings we have to discuss out of media, with all respect to democracy and free media but there are things where we have to understand the position of Ukraine and Ukrainians," he added. "And I think that is the most important thing."

"We are partners. We are very close partners. We have to be fair. We have to be very free," said Zelenskyy, sounding far more like an American president than Donald Trump did today.

This is an astonishing display of statesmanship. Rather than give into ego or pettiness, Zelenskyy is rising above Donald Trump's childish bullying to serve his people.

Zelenskyy isn't interested in following Trump down into the gutter. He's interested in securing a lasting peace for his innocent embattled country, a task made all the more difficult by Trump's kowtowing to Vladimir Putin.

Zelenskyy is also correct that these conversations should take place behind closed doors instead of being exploited to create a media circus. Trump and Vance ambushed him in the Oval Office in front of reporters because they knew that it would make headlines and entertain their base.

They are not serious leaders. Zelenskyy is.
