Y'all! So I was reading on another pet sitter site that someone had hired a sitter for in home sitting for 6 days. When they returned, their house reeked of pot, their bathrobes had been worn and they had watched p**n on their TV. Mind you, this sitter was a 70 year old woman. 🤦😱 As a company (Sit and Stay Pet Sitting) who people hire and trust, this is abhorrent. I feel bad just having to look for a broom to clean up pet hair! It is absolutely unacceptable to go into someone's home and feel so at ease as to invade their privacy and charge things to their accounts. We don't drink people's alcohol, we don't go into rooms we don't need to, we don't wear people clothes (just why?) we don't go on their computers, order movies or worse, go through drawers or closets, (unless told to go look for hiding cats...lol), we don't smoke -anything- in people's homes, have friends over for parties, or do anything that someone without even a modicum of decency would do to make the client regret hiring us! This morning was wonderful. I joined Amy Williams Bryant, Tara Miller, and Infiniti Roofing and Remodeling to give back to Liberty Elementary teachers. The turnout was amazing, and serving them lunch was an honor. What a blessing, what an incredible day.

Last night I stopped on the side of the road to help a deer. I didn't hit her, she had already been hit, but I saw the her still alive laying on the side of the road with her head still upright. She couldn't lay her head down because her jaw was broken and it would have been to painful for her. All I could do was call the police to come and euthanize her. I stayed there to comfort her until he arrived. I put my hand on the side of her head so she could relax her neck and I stroked her forehead as I saw tears fall down her face. Another person finally stopped and showed kindness and helped to offer comfort until the officer arrived. As we drove off, we heard the single shot and I cried the entire way home.
