Welchenhawk German Shepherds Welchenhawk Working German Shepherds is a kennel that is dedicated to breeding quality multi-purpose German Shepherds. We are located in Canton, Ohio.

I have loved the German Shepherd breed since I was 12 years old. Through the years I have studied the breed and started participating in the sport of Schutzhund in 2012. Schutzhund is a 3 phase sport that was developed in Germany in the early 1900's as a breed suitability test for German Shepherds. The 3 phases consist of tracking, obedience, and protection. I currently train and compete with my 3

year old male Flash vom Haus Weinbrand “Titan”. Von Der Welchenhawk is a responsible breeder that focuses on quality not quantity. I want to produce a health tested working line with specific traits that showcase the German Shepherds working versatility in areas such as Police K9, Schutzhund/IPO, Search and Rescue (SAR), Agility, Herding and loyal family members.
