I want to thank you all for your patience as I settle into vet school and all of your support! I’m not quite ready to come back to lessons just yet BBUUUTTT I am in the works of brining on another FANTASTIC instructor to be able to offer more lessons on the weekends!

PARENTS!
Summer is winding down and we all will be heading back to school soon! With that being said my school schedule will be transitioning to WEEKENDS ONLY ON A FIRST COME FIRST SERVE BASIS starting in September! I will continue teaching my current schedule up until August 12 then will take the rest of the month off!! Get your summer lessons in while you can!

Shoutout to Blakelee Milligan for participating in her very first play day today with RCSP! Red had the zooms but she did a great job handling him!

BIG thank you to the Waggoner family for allowing us to borrow Woody to finish our events! He was awesome! ❤️🖤

Mrs. Arienne and Red shaved many seconds off of their barrels and poles personal bests!

Congratulations to Alyssa on her new lease horse, Hansom! 🥰
Hansom is apart of the herd from West Texas A&M University and will spend the summer with Alyssa before returning to the school in the fall!
We are so excited to root this team on this summer!

ITS PLAYDAY WEEKEND! This Saturday (5/18) is the first of Randall County Sheriffs Posse summer series, and Sunday (5/19) is the final one of the Range Riders series! If your student is interested, please let Mrs. Arienne know!

Sunset Ranch spent the day in Tahoka yesterday at the second Llano Estacado Dressage Association show of the season!

💜 Alyssa Guzman made her western dressage debut on Cinnamon and dominated her tests! She won both of her classes!

💜 Mrs. Arienne competed on Red where they took 3rd in Training Level Test 1, and 2nd in Training Level Test 2! We also picked up our new fancy saddle pad that we won last time!

Thank you to everyone that cheered us on and helped us get there and back!

We are super proud of Chloe at her very first playday yesterday! Chloe participated in barrels, flag, and poles on Cinnamon and had a great time!

Redboi outdid himself this morning!

🐴 We relived our dressage glory days and attended Llano Estacado Dressage Association frost show of the year in Tahoka!

🐴 For as much dressage fundamentals I teach my students, I’ve never had the opportunity to show Red competitively so I entered him in the two tests they were a great baseline for him! He said “move out da way, I’m a pro at these!” A 74.38% in Intro B and a 74.5% in Into C! Those are FANTASTIC scores!

🐴 Red received so many compliments for how great (and adorable) he is and I’m so proud since we had ZERO practice time this week before going to show!

🐴 First place for Intro B, waiting for official results on Intro C but had to have been good because we won high point!

Thank you to Llano Estacado Dressage Association for a phenomenal experience, we will for sure be back in May! Bring on Training Level! 🤩

What’s better than one veterinarian in the family? TWO!
I am sooooo excited to announce that I have been accepted into Texas Tech University School of Veterinary Medicine for the class of 2028! It’s been a hard journey to get to this point but I cannot thank those who have influenced, encouraged, and pushed me to my full potential to get here!
Big thank you to Chris Morrow Katelyn Waggoner and Thomas 'Tj' Barclay the past three years at Mobile Veterinary Practice for helping me gain a ton of experience and to solidify that this is TRUELY what I want to do in my life ❤️

Plus how ironic that this Lubbockite makes it full circle to finally attend Texas Tech without having to stay in Lubbock? 😜

Baby Darcie has had 5 super constructive great rides put on her now and is saying she’s gonna be a future rockstar!
