For your consideration, another great gelding. He is owned by Alice Leese and consigned to the Clovis Horse Sales- Levelland, TX lot no #228, STARLITES PEPPY,5146731, aka “Banjo”. He stands approximately 14.3 hh. This is one of my absolute favorite horses on the ranch. He’s smooth traveling and has a great stop. He’s cowy and a ton of fun to sort on. But he’s quite natured and will put up with just about anything. He would be a great fit for a novice or non-pro to go show or a family with some kids looking for that step up. He’d do just fine heeling or staying in a using string. He doesn’t get sour and doesn’t act fresh with time off. He’s easy to catch and will meet you at the gate with his ears up. He changes leads smoothly and will put his head down and pick through rough footing. He’s had plenty of pasture roping done off of him with us and drug lots of calves to the fire. Don’t let his plainer clothes fool you, he’s one of the best we’ve ever ridden. Please check out his video in the comments!!

He is a 16-hh, coal-black gelding. This horse is solid broke, he’s willing, and gritty enough to handle the long days. He has had a bunch of c**ts ponied on him. He is cowy, light-mouthed, and is softer feeling than your typical big horse. He’s had lots of miles in the West Texas sandhills and has been ridden by a wide variety of riders. He’s currently sound on a trim and has never been off. He’s going to be an asset to any program he enters. We’re honored to have the chance to advertise one like this. We have a top notch program! Your horse will receive training 5 to 6 days a week.
We have received a ton of coaching on c**t starting, halterbreaking, and showing performance horses. We are constantly pursuing our own improvements in horsemanship. We have the flexibility to meet your horse where it’s at and improve from there.
We are currently feeding 10 to 15 lbs of Alfa Pro a day and quality Alfalfa to our horses in training. But we are flexible and can adjust to feeding those horses who need a certain diet.
We keep clean water in front of our horses and dry-clean 12 x12 stalls with turnouts!
