A great Sunday!

A new level of obedience and obstacles. We are making sure our pups are confident and comfortable with new surroundings and experiences. Along with gaining confidence, we are working on our heeling, sits and downs. Loving the air conditioned classes!

New classes starting in January! Saturday January 7th, we are beginning tracking and detection classes as well as protection classes!

Tracking and Detection: Saturday morning at 10am. Class is $30 for the hour. We are going to be doing personal article tracking and trailing. We offer weapons detection and drug detection.

Protection: Saturday morning at 11am. Class is $30 for the hour. We are going to be doing personal protection and house/yard protection.

We do not offer competition training, we only offer practical training!

We love all our dogs. Dogs are family to us, not just pets. So, we take pride on being able to bring our dog, and have them behave, when we go out in public. Florida is very dog friendly, check with your stores and see which ones allow dogs.

The definition of a well-behaved dog is one that will not bite another dog or human, does not bark, uses the bathroom outside, does not jump and all-around good behavior in a public setting.

Some good places that dogs are welcome is Home Depot, Lowes, most clothing stores, target, most restaurants with outdoor seating, even Applebee's. Most shopping malls also allows dogs. IF you are having trouble with your dog and do not feel confident bringing them with you in public, send us a message, we would love to help you get the most out of your furry family member.

It isn't a Sunday without the crew taking over downtown! A great training session today, some dogs that have been with us since the beginning and some their first time out. We absolutely love how we have grown and really developed into a large group of people who want to train! Can't wait to see what next weekend brings!

K-9 Outcast took over the dog beach this morning! It is great to have a group of people to go out and enjoy life with! It's even better to enjoy it with our pups. Cannot wait for the next outing! We made a ton of new friends and had the best recall at the beach.

A big step in bonding with your dog, is to take on new and challenging things together. Show your dog they have nothing to fear and prove to them, they can do difficult things.

In this lesson, we showed our dogs how to get up onto something a little higher, more uncomfortable and a bit too small for them. They were all a little uneasy and it took a few tries, but each and every dog team got up on this fountain. The amount of praise and love these owners have for their dogs showed with how big the smiles were.

Teach your dog to embrace things they are afraid of. Cowering, lashing out, or attacking is not how our dog should feel. They should feel confident, if not in themselves, than in you, until they can be in themselves. Your job is to build them up and look to you for approval. Help them not fear new things.

Amazing Sunday Training!!

Every weekend our group gets bigger. Every weekend we can see the bond grow stronger between dog and owner. We cannot thank you guys enough for trusting us with your pups. Can't wait for the next great weekend!!

Training is not about hammering your dog with commands and negative reinforcement. Training is about building a relationship with your dog to the point your dog will trust you enough to work for you.

Every weekend we get together and train. Every weekend we prove how bonded we are with our pups! From reactive dogs being social and safe, advanced dogs with amazing focus on their handler, all the way to beginning pups learning to sit and down.

We have taken the hard job of dog training and turned it into a weekend hobby. We have fun, we train, and we bond. I love our training family. I am so proud we are not just a business. We don't care about robbing you of money. We don't care about kicking you out because your heeling isn't perfect or your dog loves to talk. And we certainly don't care about how everyone else feels about us. There is no such thing as "too bad" or "too aggressive", everyone is welcome to train with us.
