Get ready for the cutest showdown in town! Join us this Sunday starting at 11 AM for Puppy Bowl III at Cape Coral Animal Shelter! Watch our adorable, adoptable puppies take the field for a fun-filled game of cuteness, cuddles, and friendly competition.

🎉 Everyone is welcome! Come cheer on our tiny athletes, meet some amazing pups, and maybe even find your new best friend!

The event is free, but donations are always welcome!

Please join us for a free, behind-the-scenes tour of the Cape Coral Animal Shelter and Veterinary Clinic on Thursday, February 20th from 5-6pm. ADVANCED REGISTRATION is required. Tours will be limited to the first 20 RSVP’s. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

This exclusive tour will be followed by a private Q&A session with CCAS management and an update on our expansion plans.

The tour and Q&A will be approximately one hour and you will see and hear firsthand about the programs and services we provide to our community and throughout Florida. And YES, you will get to meet a few of our canine and feline residents!

🐾 Collaboration for a Better Future! 🐾

Our Executive Director recently attended the statewide conference for the Florida Association of Animal Welfare Organizations (FAAWO), joining forces with fellow animal welfare leaders to share ideas, resources, and best practices. FAAWO is a consortium of nonprofit and municipal shelters, rescue groups, and dedicated advocates working together to make a positive impact on animal welfare in Florida.

Lee County was well represented, with Gulf Coast Humane Society, Lee County Domestic Animal Services, and Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue also in attendance! Working together is key to saving more lives and strengthening our communities. 💙🐶🐱

🏈🐶 Get Ready for CCAS Puppy Bowl III! 🐶🏈

Who needs the Super Bowl when you can watch the cutest puppies hit the gridiron?! On Sunday, February 9th, at 11:00 AM, join us in person at Cape Coral Animal Shelter for Puppy Bowl III—where our adorable adoptable puppies will be bringing their A-game in the most heart-melting showdown of the season! 💕🏆

Sadly, shelters like CCAS always have puppies that have been abandoned, neglected, or unwanted. Our staff and volunteers work tirelessly to provide them with the love, care, and socialization they need. Playtime is a crucial part of their development, and what better way to burn off that puppy energy than a fun game of football?!

🐾 HOW IT STARTED:
Back in 2023, we decided to share puppy playtime on social media—and Puppy Bowl was born! We had no idea it would become such a hit, with people calling and showing up just to watch in person. Now, you can experience it LIVE!

After enduring a life no animal should ever experience, Roseanne found her way to CCAS, and she hasn’t looked back. Though we tried to find her the perfect furever home, Roseanne decided that she already found it—right here with us. She enjoys the comforts of her kingdom: a cozy roof over her head, a full belly, and the daily adoration of her loyal royal subjects (our staff, volunteers, and visitors). Roseanne has claimed CCAS as her castle, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. She will live out her days surrounded by love, treats, and endless spoiling from those who cherish her dearly. This young lady had been wanting a kitten for quite some time. She had shown her mom what a mature and responsible young adult she was, so mom decided to surprise her with one our sweetest young adult cats we’ve had for a Christmas Day surprise. “Good morning. I saw your request on Facebook for stories from alumni. We have only had snowy for a week, however he made my daughter so happy for Christmas. Thank you! 😊”
