K-9 Outcast

At K-9 Outcast, we strive to build a stronger bond between trainer and dog. We teach basic and advanced obedience that couples with socialization.

We are dedicated dog trainers who will ensure your dog have the tools needed to behave in public. We also offer Bite work (protection) and Nose work (tracking and detection).

Obstacle course class was a success!

All the dogs did amazing having to work their sits and downs on unstable objects! Some were a little scared but thats ok. We do this to grow confidence and make sure the dogs trust us.

We have a very exciting curriculum to get your pup ready to take on the world with you. Our entire goal is for you to be able to bring your dog with you everywhere! You are the most important thing in your dog's life, and we believe they deserve to see more than just the inside of the house.

Tip Tuesday!

With all the seasons changing, we want to make sure our pups are able to stay safe and be happy in all climates.

Florida is mostly summer so making sure to watch your dog in the heat and knowing the signs of heststroke is very important.

A lot of people travel with their pups, its important to keep in mind that a dog going to a climate they are not used to can be a serious health issue. Be sure to not overdo the exposure and be sure to check on your pup if they are left outside. Just because its cooler than normal, does not mean your dog knows how to adapt. Going from Florida heat to snow can mess with your dogs immune system just like it can ours.

This past weekend we had a blast at Lowes!! All the dogs had amazing obedience.

Our goals!
✅️ Ignore other people ans dogs
✅️ No reaction to loud noises
✅️ Maintain a sit/down with loud carts and machines
✅️ Maintain focus on handler throughout store

Every team did absolutely everything flawlessly!

💥 Here are the safe and unsafe foods for your pup!
Gentle reminder:
✅ ️Foods not eaten often are only safe in moderation
✅️ Ensure your dog is not allergic to any of the safe foods
✅️ Watch yoir dog after consuming new foods for an upset stomach or allergies
✅️ Your dog, your rules! Do not allow anyone to go against your diet restrictions for your dog!
✅️ Watch your dog around eating children and babies
✅️ Enjoy a safe holiday with your fur baby!

💥 K9 Outcase is adding our curriculum online!!

We are going to be posting our monthly lesson guide. Along with this guide, we are adding a weekly goal! Keep a lookout for our Public Outings!!

✅️ We want our clients to challenge themselves outside of weekend classes!
✅️ We want to expand all our dog teams knowledge!

❗️We will be adding a REACTIVE DOG CLASS!
• These dogs will be either fear aggressive, people aggressive, and/or dog aggressive.
• These classes will be Saturday and Sunday at 12pm.
• Regular obedience class clients are welcome to attend class at this time, however, understand the risks and need to maintain extra control of their dog.
• A dog that shows any negative reaction towards people or other dogs will need to attend this class ONLY until graduated to the regular obedience class.

💜 Even more blessed to have some of the best pups to work with! These dogs work through aggression, fear, excitement, and so much more! We are so proud of the teams that come out weekend after weekend to better their pups.

We are so fortunate to have such a larger space for training!

We love being able to host classes indoors and get the most out of our pups before they get overheated! The indoor environment also allows for more distractions and better socialization!
