The microchip company Save This Life (STL) Microchips has suddenly shut down and is no longer linked to national microchip databases. If your pet has an STL microchip and gets lost, shelters and vets will not be able to retrieve your contact info.

What you need to do:
✅ Check if your pet has an STL microchip – review your records or ask at 239-772-2009.
✅ Re-register the microchip ASAP to ensure your pet can be identified if lost.
• FREE option: www.freepetchipregistry.com
• Scan the barcodes in the attached image to register with other providers.
• Use the AAHA Microchip Lookup Tool (https://www.aaha.org/for-veterinary-professionals/microchip-search/) if you know the number but not the company.
