Over the course of the last five years, Bernadette Clancy, owner of BFF (Berni’s Furever Friends) decided to pursue her lifelong dream—caring for animals. BFF is very specific with who cares for the animals once the company has been engaged. Bernadette makes all the house calls and no other individuals are allowed to be on the premises once engaged to ‘sit’. She also consults with two other pet ca
re services with experiencing totaling 35 years. Originally from New Jersey, Bernadette has been working with animals since she was a teenager, a member of the 4H Club in Bergen County, New Jersey. She has done everything from training dogs to whelping puppies, but her current business focuses on caring for animals when the owners are not available, giving them love while their parents are gone! She has been an advocate for health services since 1994 and owned her own Lifestyle Consulting business while attending to her ‘herd’ of animals in Brandon, Florida. Bernadette has an AS Degree in Business Management and is currently working towards her BS degree in Allied Science. She will graduate in March 2016 in allied science. Bernadette is a member of Pet Sitters International, a volunteer at Hope Hospice and is part of the email chain of several animal rescues in the Fort Myers area. All of her own pets are rescued animals. She is reliable, trustworthy and has a great rapport with animals. “No animal is too big or too small!” She is licensed in Lee County, Bonded and Insured and is a member of Pet Sitter’s International, the national pet sitting agency. She will be certified through PSI by the end of September. Bernadette has many references which will be provided upon request.
