A little Thanksgiving🦃 meet up for these kiddos and our favorite big kid! Exchanging a cow or two talking about cows, about next show season and catching up! Cold and rainy didn’t dampen there spirits ❤️

BIG DAY OUT
Miss. Rosa needed a few essentials at Tractor Supply and what better way to get what you need than to pick them out yourself, of course Ben and Miss. Rosa had some funny looks as they wondered through the store but Lauren was there to answer any questions of some very perplexed customers.

Miss. Rosa has arrived after a quick 1,200 mile and 30 hour round trip down and back to Maryland to pick up this very special lady. We are very excited for her future here at the farm. She has only been with us for two days but has definitely won all of us over instantly.

SOLD as the auctioneer says! This is a video of Ben selling his market lamb today at the sale. A huge thank you to the buyer and the buyers of the boys steers, as well as all the other market animals. Below are a couple of pictures of steers in the sale as well.

Tomorrow is the day, tomorrow is the day, the boys have been working towards for the last 380 days. These two steers will be sold tomorrow. They have worked with these animals in every weather condition you can imagine, on every holiday there is in a course of a year and at every time of day. They have kept them healthy and have learned so much from this project. Ryan and Ben are so thankful for the village of people around them who have helped in every way imaginable from feeding when they could not, to guiding them on how to show or fit or the ones who make sure there bellies are full and there show clothes are clean and ready when needed. It truly takes a village!!
Tomorrow they will complete this project only to go home and care for next years steers because they are excited for a new challenge a new chance to win a blue ribbon.

The Cumberland Fair has wrapped up, Wedsenday was a successful 4-H auction and Ryan and Ben had a great day showing Beef cattle on Thursday even though it rained from sun up to sun down it didn’t slow any of these 4-H kids down, however the parents on the other hand we’re not as resilient as the kids 🤦‍♂️ Saturday Ryan caught his scramble steer and now we are settled in at the Fryeburg Fair for the week in Barn 17 stop by and say hello.

Ryan and Ben had another very successful swine show at the Cumberland Fair
Ben won his showmanship class, weight class and overall reserve champion!
Ryan won his showmanship class, weight class and took overall Grand Champion.
Rubber Ducky and Olive have been loved unconditionally this summer and the boys have done so well with them working them daily under the knowledgeable guidance of our village.

We have 8 of these boxes 📦 300.00 per box with 50 packages of approximately 1 pound individually wrapped packages of some of the best ground beef you will ever taste raised right here in sunny 🌞 Cape Elizabeth.
The boxes are very modest in size only taking up approximately
18”x18”x10”

**Sarah insisted before going to pasture Sugar Daddy get cleaned up 🤦‍♂️**

SO this afternoon Sugar Daddy got all gussied up to head out to the pasture to spend some quality time with the mama cows 😉
He had a bath, blow dry, hair cut and even a little mousse to keep his appearance sharp!
A quick light coating of bug spray and a short and sweet photo shoot and he was literally off and running to the pasture singing the whole way!!
