We are having a problem with this lately and we will not allow this to become an unloading site. When you are trying to give something away that is clearly not a lost pet it takes away from the importance and urgency of this page. I will also delete rescue group

s from doing the same thing. A photo, location where they went missing and contact info. Don't forget to call your local shelters to see if they have been picked up and taken to jail and please check the animal for a chip if they are found.

Just clarifying again this page is NOT the Cape shelter but I get several messages daily asking how to adopt animals that are posted here. We are only a FB page that shares info sent to us by individuals and shelters. The first picture is us and the other is the shelter in Cape which used to be known as the Humane Society. Note that SEMO Lost Pet (us) doesn't have a phone number and the shelter, Southeast Missouri Pets lists theirs. TY!

BOT/TROLL/SCAM ALERT! Our page has been inundated with these types of posts. I've removed more than 20 this week. If you notice these please let us know ASAP. The others we get are from accounts trying to sell you a service they "guarantee" will find your missing pet......for a fee. These types of scams seem to have become more common so please help us out if you see them. Thanks!
