I’m making this page in hopes of being able to crowdfund for a major dental surgery that Tinker needs

Just a friendly reminder that I have 3 kittens just about ready for homes! They’re just now old enough to go but I am still working on vetting them. They’re scheduled for vaccines next Monday and I’m working on getting enough money together to get them fixed. I also have 3 adults that are needing homes! (Mama and 2 felv+ cats. One felv cat is already fully vetted, one is utd on shots but needs fixed still)

Also if anyone would want to donate towards their vetting, it’ll help me be able to get it done way sooner and in turn be able to post and find them homes way sooner. I will not be posting them anywhere else until they’re vetted. Mondays appointment will cost about $190 to get them all UTD on shots, fixing will cost around $100 a piece (5 cats total need fixed)

I couldn’t leave these babies to die and that’s exactly what would’ve happened to all of these cats had I not taken them so please help me get them to their furever homes that they all so deserve!

Tinker is now home and resting!

The vet said his surgery went really well and smoothly. His mouth was so much worse than I’d anticipated honestly! They removed 16 teeth, 18 were already gone, leaving him with 8 teeth. The vet said the severe infection in his mouth had caused a rare dental disease that ate multiple holes straight from the roof of his mouth into his nose that they had to repair and suture! 😮 this poor boy had probably been hurting so bad for some time now 😢 he did eat his dinner tonight which makes me so happy! He’s such a champ! 💕

A HUGE thanks to Carol Rodgers with Helping Paw Project for helping this sweet boy so he can hopefully live the rest of his life (and hopefully a long one) being a spoiled little lap dog 💚 words cannot even begin to describe how extremely grateful I am for you! And thank you Grace Veterinary Clinic for taking such good care of him and helping him get better!

This is going to be a long read but I’m hoping any questions can be answered here, if they’re not, feel free to comment here or send me a message!

This is tinker. Tinker is a nearly 12 year old Pomeranian mix. Tinkers last family decided that only 2 years after adopting him, the appropriate response to him getting old and experiencing health issues (major loss of hair due to severe flea infestation) was to throw him outside to fend for himself. People who work nearby report him screaming at the door desperately wanting in from this summer heat. I observed him for about a week to ensure he wasn’t someone’s outside dog that I’d legally be stealing and after seeing him sit in the same bush edge on a hot curb for that week, I decided to knock on the door of the home he was nearby and got no answer so I took him home with me. From there I proceeded to spend hours scrubbing him with Dawn and hand picking every flea and tick (and there were thousands) off of his poor malnourished body. There was no signs of food or water left out for him where he was or on their property so I believe it had been a while since he’d gotten any. It took me days to get him to eat a meal and drink but with lots of persuasion, we got there. When picking him up, my intention was to get him clean, fed, cool, and checked out by a vet and then rehome. He is the absolute sweetest and most well behaved dog ever and he’s absolutely fallen in love with me and I just can’t bring myself to give him up unless I were to find the absolute perfect home/situation for him. With this all being said, about $600 later, he’s up to date on shots, healthy, gained 1.6 pounds in the 2 months I’ve had him and all of his hair has grown back but he has horribly infected and loose teeth. He needs major dental surgery and he needs it asap. I have exhausted most of my spare personal expenses towards him and his care and I just can’t afford the $1000-2000 it’s going to cost overall to get this done. I’m so scared every day that one of his teeth are going to get ripped out when eating or fall out on it’s own and cause the infection to spread. I’m asking for the community to help me help him. All of his vet records and estimates for surgery are posted before this!

I would prefer donations be called in and directly payed to his vet (Marion veterinary clinic, 618-993-3722) but if preferred, I also have pretty much all forms of online pay (Facebook pay, venmo, PayPal, chime, Apple Pay, cashapp)

Edited to add: his vets hours are Monday, Wednesday, and Thursdays 8am-5pm and tuesdays 12pm-5pm

They do have a second office that has much more available hours but I will have to call and see for sure if donations can be called into that place or if it has to be their main office there
