Sahale has been working hard on her calm feelings on car rides to fun places. She was whining, barking, panting, and vibrating out of her skin on car rides to our hikes and when you parked the car the chorus of barking began. Then that led to over aroused behavior like pulling and hyper activity on the walks and an inability to train on these walks because she was so amped up. I'm so happy to share we have gotten to a point where she can now eat a bone on the car ride, arrive to the hike, look around, and settle back down on her own while i get ready. Her behavior on the hike improved on its own too by addressing the root cause not the symptoms (pulling on leash). So proud of this wild child 🥰
Teaching Abby to go get the babies laundry hamper and bring it to the laundry room 🤣 she also knows how to take the clothes out of the dryer. She'll be taking requests for laundry jobs in no time 🤣
Practicing for joining the circus 🤣 sometimes life happens and you can't walk your dogs. What do you do then? There are SO many other forms of enrichment we can (and should be regardless) provide our dogs with! This trio got to play, sniff around, then learn new active tricks all while i rested my foot! Sometimes you just need to think outside the box! If you need help with enrichment ideas or providing your active dog with exercise that isn't running 10 miles a day to exhaust them email us today at [email protected]!
