Why massage? Massage has a myriad of benefits for your canine athlete…it increases circulation, promoting the removal of cellular waste and nourishment of the body’s tissues. It can help release muscle tension and trigger points, as well as aiding in pain relief. It helps improve range of motion and mobility, leading to better performance on the field!

Emily is certified in canine massage through the Lang Institute and specializes in trigger point work. She has been providing bodywork services since 2015. Her passion is providing massage for working dogs, helping them to feel their best and stay at the top of their game.

Exhaust at Finals

Hospitality
We have three returning volunteers managing the handlers hospitality tent: Karen Kloverstrom, Marta Lindsay and Pam Bruns. We have them to thank for the fresh hot coffee every morning!

We will once again be a Zero Waste event this year. That means that every garbage can has a specific purpose. There will be no single use plastic bottles of water available for purchase at Finals. We have plenty of water stations on the grounds so please bring your reusable water bottle! It is important to hydrate at altitude in order to avoid headaches or altitude sickness. So drink up while you are in Colorado!

CAMPING AT FINALS?
Thursday will be the day for sewer and water service at the trial field. Tanks pumped is $60. Water filled (50 gallon limit!!) is $30. PLEASE BRING CASH TO PAY FOR THESE SERVICES. You will sign up for these services when you check in to the campground upon arrival. Campground opens at 1 pm on Sunday.

Our campground hosts this year are Kristi Cetrulo and Cole Burrows from New Mexico.

HANDLER BAGS
There will be a handler bag check in station just past the campground checkin starting at 1 pm Sunday.

CONCIERGE
We will once again have a concierge table under the handlers tent to assist handlers with any needs. They will track the schedules for the practice field and appointments for sports medicine, massage and BAER testing. If you haven't made an appointment online before Finals, you will be able to make an appointment at the concierge table. Katie Mitchell and Emily Heitzmann from Colorado will be managing this service all week.
