It’s a “working” weekend over here! Pretty amazing, I’ve been commissioned by H. G. Fenton Co. to “illustrate” their company Culture. This sketch will get inked next then will be printed and installed on a 20 ft display for their annual CEO’s meeting.
Grateful for my friends at DPI Direct who are always on my team for stellar fabrication!
Why I’m so enchanted by creativity!!
When I was asked to provide my “Awaken Creativity” workshop at the @secrettable event for Califia Farms, I needed vases for 30 Sunflowers. Low and behold I’d been saving Califia almond milk bottles to create an outdoor bowling alley for my granddaughter!! My intention was to embellish the bottles with tissue paper. When I saw my collection of bottles I laughed out loud! My Flower vases!! Oh Life, you love creating these synchronicities!
To celebrate the magic, I incorporated the tissue paper into this piece of art that’s being gifted to @califiafarms. When Greg, the founder of Califia, heard my story about the bottles he said, “this kind of synchronicity is not to be ignored!” I so agree!
I’ve been preparing all week for an amazing contract! Two days of LIVE sketch notes using my iPad Pro! Provation Medical has hired me to create 20 drawings featuring the outstanding features of cloud-based Provation MD. My art will unfold real-time as i draw and will be projected onto an 80” monitor in their booth during the Digestive Disease Week Conference at the SD Convention Center. Starting tomorrow morning! Amazing! Excited!
Here’s a time-lapse replay of how one sketch was created. 😃
My Graphic Illustration enlarged to 25 x 10 ft Banner for the Kinexus IT Summit held at Petco Park today! This assignment, from Accenture, was a thrill to complete in just over a week, from inked sketch to large format printing. Proud to be on the Accenture team! Thank you DPI Direct Printing for hitting this deadline for us!
I’d shared the inked sketch of this earlier and wanted to share the finished piece. Thank you all for your support during it’s creation!
The piece measures 22” x 30” and was created on Arches cold press paper. I used a Pilot waterproof pen and watercolor. I’m excited to switch over to a Lamy pen on my next piece.
She’s was just picked up by the interior designer, ready to be framed and placed in the lobby of newly built Parrish Vineyard’s Tasting Room in Paso Robles, CA. (upper left corner). The art came together during 3 full days with inspiration from dark chocolate and decaf lattes! So different than having a sketchbook to return to; feels strange that it’s not here to look at. I suppose it calls for a trip to the Vineyard!!
So many things that I love mingling in this piece... nature, structures, lettering, composition, visual storytelling of the land. This is the largest composite of sketches I’ve ever done. Lots of firsts...compass and a barn owl! Golden Eagle next. Breath Sharon, breath.
Off the floor and on the easel.
These Table markers for Oh Juice will be hand painter on repurposed wood blocks. But first, I’m playing on my iPad Pro so I can share my ideas with my client. Super fun!
A work-in-progress to share on a commissioned piece of art. This is a Tree of Life in the Yoga tradition. I’ve introduced and unique component, each branch is an aroma that supports the path of the Yama or Yinama. I love bringing in Fresh inspiration. It’s a gift I love sharing. Prints will be available. Enjoy!
5:30am... Taking a pencil concept to final art on my light box, it’s like witnessing magic. Logo design for Eco Goddess. Honored to do what I do.
