As we pass the 3-month mark, we just wanted to touch base with you. These are the things we want to clear up and give appreciation to our fish friends:

• We thank every single one of you .. those that are fish pros and those that aren’t. Thank YOU for finding us and choosing to shop with us.
• We know some of you have questions and need advice. Bucky is the fish expert, and Tessie is the books expert. Please have a little patience with us as we are just 2 people trying to help you.
• We are not Tropical Fish Bowl. Bucky was an employee that lost his job when the store closed. He is the one that knew Lafayette needed a fish store, so he put his heart and soul into building this place.
• We do not honor TFB store credit ….. respectfully, stop asking.
• We do not do trade ins or give store credit. We are a new store trying to build relationships with fish vendors to get you the best healthy fish out there. We are also trying to pay off debts, so please respect that we are not doing store credits for trade ins (give us a year, things could change).
• Please, if at all possible, come any day other than Saturday to test your water. Saturdays are our busiest days, and Bucky is the only one that can catch fish. So it’s hard for him to test water and give advice on how to fix your tank issues.
• We can order any fish you would like (within reason). Come in, message us, or call to let us know what you’re looking for, your budget, and we can order what you need if it’s available on our weekly fish orders. We want you to have fish!!
• We are closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays due to crew being on the road doing tank maintenance. Sundays are our only days off, but that doesn’t stop Bucky from cleaning tanks at the store or from obsessing over ordering fish.
• We do not have, will never have, or do not want any convict cichlids.

Townspeople of the Acadiana areas ... we will have to close today from 11a-4p. The fish shipment has arrived in NEW ORLEANS. Sorry for having to close so short notice, but we will be opening once we return.
