Public service announcement: Yesterday I was talking with my friend about not growing so much potatoes as I just bought a large bag for under $6.00. We made dinner using potatoes we had just harvested. During dinner I immediately realized that I will continue growing potatoes. I did not realize how much better potatoes grown in good soil taste. It would seem obvious but I simply didn't realize it. The whole meal was excellent as everything was home grown but I was particularly impressed with the earthy taste of the potatoes.
