🐾 **Update on Amos!** 🐾

Amos, the kitty rescued from an abandoned house on 270 Bog Rd, is safe at HHPR and slowly recovering. After surviving in a house all alone without heat, electricity, or water, he’s still in shock but finding comfort in his bed. At about 12 years old, Amos was extremely dehydrated upon rescue and is now receiving the much needed care he needs. He will undergo a full vet check-up on March 5th. He’s not ready for adoption yet, but we’ll keep you updated. Thank you for your support! ❤️

🐾 Amos is Safe! 🐾

Great news! Amos, the cat from the abandoned house on 270 Bog Rd, is now safe and sound in a cozy room at Norma’s home. 💕 Though he was understandably scared during the quick rescue, he calmed down nicely once he realized he was safe. ❤️

Norma will share more about Amos soon, but for now, sending out a huge thanks to our amazing volunteers and everyone who pitched in to save Amos! More to come on the incredible people who helped with Amos’ rescue. Thank you all, our followers, for helping, sharing, and caring about Amos. We truly value all your support. 💙

🚨 Update on Cat Rescue – Cat has been Rescued and is Safe! 🚨
***Please Note: Correct Address is 270 Bog Road, Limestone****

Good morning, Facebook friends! 🐾 Norma and HHPR volunteers will be at 270 Bog Road, Limestone today, Saturday, 2/15 at noon, to try and catch the cat and bring it to safety. They will be bringing their rescue equipment with them. If you're able to assist, please go to the location—Norma and the team will let you know what’s needed for assistance. I'm told they do have permission to enter the residence but please wait for Norma to advise. She has done this many times and has specialized equipment to ensure the safety of the cat and volunteers.

🐾 Update on the Report of a Cat Abandoned in and Empty Home
***The cat has been rescued. Thanks to everyone!***

Update from Norma. HHPR volunteers thoroughly searched the house but were unable to find the cat. It may still be hiding, or a family member may have already taken it home. Unless we hear otherwise from the Animal Control Officer, we have to assume the cat has been safely rescued. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped and showed concern! Special thanks to Taylor LaBreck and his dad for clearing the driveway so our volunteers could investigate. As soon as we received the report of the chance there could be a cat in the home, we knew we had to search—no matter the outcome. We’ll share any further updates as we receive them. We truly appreciate all of you! ❤️🐾

🚨 ***Cat has now been rescued**** Thank You!
URGENT HELP NEEDED – ABANDONED CAT IN DANGER 🚨

We need immediate assistance from someone with a plow or snowmobile to reach a house on 270 Bog Rd, Limestone.

A 16-year-old cat has been left behind after its owner passed away and their partner moved to Florida. The house has no heat, food, water, or litter box, and our volunteers cannot get through the snow to bring supplies or rescue the cat.

If you can clear a path to the porch, please email us at [email protected]. We will arrange for someone to transport the cat to safety and medical care.
