Basic Home Grooming

I was a little nervous making the video. This is for my clients to do some basic home grooming with your fur babes. I know some of you will take into your hands to groom them. Basics: Nails, clip only 1/8 to1/4. Use a file or dremel to take roughness. Use hair scissors round off feet. Just a little trim (1/2 inch of hair). Pluck the ear hair. No need to go deep. Take a cotton ball to clean dirt out. Work a little at a time for matting. If you clip it out that's fine dont get too close to the skin. Topknot on head, brush forward and trim just a little at a time. DONT go to close to the head. I cant fix a chopped topknots. Also, when bathing use aloe or oatmeal shampoo. Rinse hair good. You don't want them having skin problems. Let them air dry or use hair drier on lowest air setting. Warning: I'm not responsible for ANY accidents.
