If you are like most pet lovers, the thought of leaving your pet in unfamiliar surroundings is almost enough to make you cancel your travel plans. Let us put our years of equine experience to work for you...not only will your horses be fed and cared for on their regular schedule, but you will have peace of mind knowing that our knowledgeable horsepeople will spot any problem and know how to handle it. From bandaging to administering medication and specialized supplements, we’ll take care of it all. Cows, sheep, llamas and alpacas--our experience lets you relax! Boarding

If your dog suffers from separation anxiety, ask about our boarding rates. Dogs will enjoy our comfortable accommodations, including ourdoor runs overlooking serene horse paddocks. We offer playtime and walks around the farm several times a day. You can be certain your pet is in good hands...attention to every detail is our goal. Pet pickup and delivery available. In addition, Last Move Farm offers full service boarding for broodmates, turnouts and layups--call for rates.

Our Story

There was a time, about 15 years ago, that we felt like taking a simple vacation was an un-attainable goal. We had a small farm and lots of animals. We were too small to have employees, yet too big to ask friends and family to help out. It dawned on us then that if we had that problem, others likely did, too. And just like that, the idea for U Dirty Dog Pet & Farm Watch was born!

About the UDD Team:

Jerry and Shon Wylie, lifelong horse people and animal lovers, saw a need in their own lives and used it as the impetus to create U Dirty Dog Pet & Farm Watch service in 2004.

The Wylies have bred, foaled, trained and raced their own Thoroughbreds and those of clients. Working in a variety of fields with many types of animals has equipped them with the skills needed to care for both large and small animals, as well as those with special medical needs.

As co-founders of ReRun, Inc. the Wylies helped grow this Thoroughbred adoption program into a national organization. Their hands-on work with the many ReRun horses coming off the track has provided them vast experience in health and soundness related issues. Many of their own pets have been rescues, including a 3-legged, claustrophobic German Shepherd slated for euthanasia and straight off the track Greyhounds.

Laura Nordan, along with her husband, has adopted and cared for 39 dogs and cats over the last 19 years, typically taking those deemed “hard to adopt” due to breed prejudice, advanced age, physical conditions (blind, deaf, missing limbs) and/or survivors of abuse situations.

Laura has been involved in humane rescue efforts for 30 years-fostering over 60 dogs for various rescues. She is experienced with medicating animals with a variety of medical conditions. Laura is active as a volunteer, visiting nursing homes, hospitals, schools and libraries with her certified/insured Therapy Dogs—all rescues. Laura feels that understanding the depth of love one feels for their pets is key to providing clients with the level of trust and confidence needed when leaving their home and animals in the hands of another.
