Happy Thanksgiving! These babies are 2 weeks old, and have opened their eyes. The pigment is filling in on their noses. The photos of them passed out in a milk coma are literally what I looked like after dinner, LOL.

Chase went into labor yesterday afternoon. Unfortunately, her baby did not survive. It is very sad, and I feel horrible for her. She is doing okay. She has adopted a couple of small, plush toys, and doesn't seem overly concerned.😢💔

Big news - I am going to stop breeding. My last litter is due mid-November. Elvira (first photo, dam) and Spotacus (Second photo, sire). I will be spaying/ neutering moms and dads, and then some of the adults will be available to good homes. Please let me know if you'd like to be on my list for a puppy or young adult yorkie.

Copied and sharing because its the God's honest truth. I will talk about how broke I am because I am...Hubby will say I have money..."Um, no I don't..thats the dog's money and I can't spend that on me or my kids unless its an emergency with my kids...otherwise I don't touch my dog funds". You HAVE to have money and or credit when you breed, or you loose puppies or mama's during emergencies...which will happen if you breed.
BEFORE YOU DECIDE IF YOU ARE GONNA BUY A DOG and Eventually BREED It, AND MAKE MONEY😂 MAKE SURE TO CHECK THIS LIST⁉️⁉️
1. Can you take money and throw it off a bridge 🤷🏻‍♂️ with a 50% chance you might get some back, and a 50% chance you lose it all? Not all dogs that a Breeder invests in become breeders - physical imperfections, temperament issues, DNA testing, etc. can cause you to not choose to breed a particular dog, while other dogs just don’t produce no matter their lineage and how much time and money you’ve invested in them.
2. How much do you really like cleaning 💩?? Really think on this one- on the days you are sick, had a long day, depressed, are you ready to deal with it, because there are NO days off.
3. Are you ready to persevere and keep going when you lose the dog closest to your heart?
4. Do you have 2-4 hours per day for the enrichment of your dogs? (Keep in mind this goes up with every dog you add)
5. Can you afford anywhere from a 500-3k vet bill at any given moment?
6. Are you available to cycle all of your dogs for outside time when a female is in heat so a fight does not break out?
7. Do you love the sound of puppys whining? Don’t forget that new litter you couldn’t wait for needs to be fed every 3 hours on the dot. Team no sleep.
8. Can you afford 300-500 a month in miscellaneous dog expenses, food, treats, toys, bedding, etc.?
9. Are you educated enough to take care of a litter that needs to be tube fed, or has neonatal conjunctivitis? (Just examples, many things can go wrong with neonates- and quickly)
10. Are you ready to miss holidays and birthdays and other events with family and friends, because your dogs come first? Forget about a vacation.. what’s that?
This is just the beginning of a list. If you’re in it for the money, just stop while you’re ahead.
We’ve taken Losses no one knows about because we don’t post them for sympathy. We’ve invested more time, money, sweat and tears into these dogs than anything else. It’s a lifestyle, not a come up. If you can’t do this, then do the dogs a favor and don’t get any 💯
