Last week was definitely the craziest in my short Breeding career. my big maiden mare Millwood faith n started to colic right when she is supposed to be giving birth. I got her out of that and she immediately starts having the baby, the only problem is it was STUCK. I was by myself and it took 10 minutes of pulling harder than I ever could have imagined you had to in order to get it out .The baby’s not moving and Its tongue is hanging out, i thought for sure it was dead. I tried shaking it and slapping it a little bit, and it started breathing ! Holy s**t was i happy, It was a beautiful Doctor Butch c**t! Everything is going great….
then boom the next day mama is back in colic mode, WORSE than ever. Had an emergency vet come and try to save her. At that point he said “she has a 99% chance of dying” As long as there was 1% we were trying everything we could as we had nothing to lose. FINALLY after 16 hours of nonstop trying she got unkinked! Even after that, there was a very high likelihood of it happening again so we have been carefully rehabbing to make sure she was safe and I finally feel comfortable now to post that she is 100% and the baby is AWESOME! What an amazing mother she is! 😍

getting into Breeding Was one of the best decisions of my life. I know it could easily go the other way and it probably will in the future, but it’s worth it for moments like this. Erick Rodríguez and Lisa Romeo thank you for never giving up , we made a great team! ❤
