Dental health is so important to your pet's health!

To prevent dental disease in dogs and cats, you can brush their teeth, feed them certain prescription foods, and take them for regular dental checks with a veterinarian .

Brushing:
Brush your pet's teeth daily to remove plaque and reduce tartar buildup.
Use a pet-specific toothpaste or gel. Human toothpaste can upset a pet's stomach.
Choose a toothbrush that's right for your pet's size and mouth shape.
Capsules such as Nutraplaque can effectively break down tartar

Dental food:
Dry food and dental chews can reduce tartar build-up
Avoid wet food or human food when possible
Dental prescription foods are available

Dental cleanings:
Regular dental check-ups
Veterinarians can advise when it is best to get a scale and polish or if it is a more complex procedure such as getting teeth removed

Bruin and Finley ❤️ it’s been a crazy summer and I have failed miserably posting pictures. Vowing to do better this fall!
For right now I won’t be taking on any more new clients, I plan to reassess in about a month.
