I'm a 3rd generation groomer. My love for animals started at a very young age when I visited my Grandparents farm in Missouri! My brother, sisters and I would spend weekend's (or longer in the summer) there and would help with whatever needed to be done. My Grandma operated a grooming salon in the back of her farmhouse and you could find me there whenever she had dogs to groom. I would get right in and do whatever I could do to help her! I have 2 fur-babies of my own. Bella (Shih-Poo) and Stryker (German Shepard). I've owned dogs and cats for as long as I can remember and I don't think my life would be complete without their unconditional love! I worked in Corporate USA way too long but always wanted to pursue my real passion of grooming! I attended the Animal Behavior College to fully understand everything that I need to know and perfect my skills. I currently hold the following certifications: Barkleigh Covid19 Certification - covering methods of transmission, sanitation protocols and best practices to keep groomers and our customers safe. Pet CPR & First Aid Certification Puppy Handling 101 - covering psychological milestones, ongoing handling techniques, overcoming common obstacles, and how to set your puppies up for a lifetime of success both on the grooming table and off. Hair and Skin 101 Certification - learned the basics around good hair and skin health. How to treat certain skin irritations, skin restoration, as well as how to maintain and care for a healthy coat. Vaccines 101 Certification - learned the science behind how canine vaccines work and what vaccines should be required to maintain a safe working environment. I'm a people person also and can't wait to not only meet your fur-baby but to build a great relationship with all my clients!
