Friskie is waiting!

This little girl had a great life! She lived with a sister cat and had a loving owner. Then tragedy struck, and the owner passed away. Friskie and her sister were surrendered by a family member to
Paws on my Heart Rescue. However, some time later the other kitty also passed away. This left Friskie to figure out life on her own. She is 6 1/2 years and a beautiful long-haired girl with big, bright eyes!! She is petite, eats dry food, loves to be petted and sit on your lap. Friskie would love to have a family to call her own. She is waiting with a foster to meet you!!

Foster Found! Thank you Kelly and Josh! These are the sweetest little girls! Bunny will curl into your neck when you hold her! They will be ready in 2 weeks!

🐾Looking for a foster for a week or two. Bunny and Cruella. Their owner needs to move and his new place doesn't allow pets. The girls need a Rabies vaccine so I would ask that their foster can run them to the clinic during the foster period. Once Pawz pet cafe has an opening they can go there. Message us, and we'll arrange a meeting with a volunteer at Petco. All our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, FeLV/FIV tested, dewormed, and microchipped. The adoption fee includes a free 3rd FVRCP vaccine for kittens, and lifelong free nail trims!

Holiday lovies….

It’s not too late to take home a bundle of love to share your holidays. These two kittens are not related but needed a friend to get through this tough time - waiting for a home. Katie, the white kitten and Dragon, the black kitten found just the friend. Both are about 4 months of age. These girls are super duper cute! And did I say a available?! Holiday foster snuggler needed…..

❗️📢PSA: Give FeLV+ kitties a chance!! 📢❗️ We have 5 amazing cats available right now that have tested positive for the Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV), but they are all such happy and healthy kitties who should not be living their lives with a rescue (although we care for them deeply). FeLV is NOT a death sentence!

🌞SUNNY: Please meet Sunny! He was found on a very cold day in January 2023 covered in fleas and completely emaciated. He was so thankful for food in his belly and a warm place to sleep that he purred nonstop for days! He can get playful with the laser pointer, however, he is mostly over the kitten craziness. He loves to look outside in between naps and snacks. He does well with dogs and kids that respect his space. He has impeccable litter box skills. Sunny is so very loved at his foster home, but he is so very deserving of his forever home. We have had him too long!!

❤DASHER: Do you need a snuggle buddy to come home to? A fuzzy loverboy that craves your full attention? A simple yet gorgeous hunk with big green eyes to get lost in? How about a slow purr to fall asleep to? Dasher is your guy! He runs to you and will grab your hands with his two paws and puts you on his head for pets! He is loyal. Don't you need him in your life? 😺HUSH UP PUPPIE: Little Miss Hush Up Puppie loves to talk! Come meet Hush Up sometime! Shes a young girl that just picked the wrong straw and ended up with this nuisance virus. She has been healthy and such a sweet puppie! She gets along with other cats if you were able and willing to adopt her and another FeLV+ kitty.

🌷KELLY: I can sit on laps and be petted or squirrel away and be happy. I am a no drama type cat that likes attention but I'm good on my own too. My owners had rescued me from outside and I was happy indoors with them, but sadly they went to the hospital, and won't be coming back... All my housemate kitties were able to find homes, but I still need one.

🧶LOGAN: I have the cutest crackling meow. I am a super friendly and sweet boy who was found alone in Logansport wandering around. A foster took me in and discovered I was FeLV positive. They are hopeful I will eventually test negative but for now I need to be your only kitty or in a home with other Felv cats.

When you wish upon a star…..

And under that star there are two precious senior kitties whose owner has left this earth. Ruby Sue and Buddy are both about 14 years old and front paw declawed. Things were rosey for them and then life took a 180 turn around. Paws on my Heart Rescue has them in their care and is hoping beyond all hope that these two cats will find a new home before Christmas. They are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested for feline leukemia/FIV. Their bags are packed and ready to move into a new life. While we would love to see them stay together, they can be adopted individually. Please, please consider adding Ruby or Buddy to your family. A warm lap and a window for birding would be so good!
