We work in Hamilton, Marion, and Delaware Counties, and many places i

n between. Our cats are all spayed/neutered, microchipped, up-to-date on their FVRCP (distemper) vaccines, and given general de-wormer. Most of our cats are FeLV/FIV tested, and rabies shots are given to most cats over 3 months old. Since we are a foster-based rescue, most of them are with a foster and there are always several in the Carmel Petco Adoption Room at 2160 E 116th St in Carmel, IN. Meetings can be arranged to meet the kitty of your dreams!

***We also bring in new groups of cats and kittens to Petco most Saturdays!!!!*** Come meet our furry friends, wonderful volunteers, and head Cat Rescue Lady, Martha Strong.

We do NOT support or allow declawing of our cats. We often have cats that come to us already declawed and can consider placing them in a family that prefers a declaw. Declawing often leads to behavior issues such as aggression and improper litter box habits, as well as stress on the cats’ feet and legs. We offer free nail trims for our adoptees at the Carmel Petco most Saturday afternoons. Our rescue's cats and kittens have led a mostly difficult life, so we require them to be indoor cats. Our adoption application includes our rescue's terms and policies. If you have any questions, please let us know.

👀Look at these 3 sweet little boys! 🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛🐈‍⬛Bartholomew, Balthazar, and Barnabas. 🦇 Meet them and MANY MORE on SATURDAY NOV 16 at Carmel Petco off 116th & Keystone. Maybe even adopt a kitty or two ⁉️

These boys were discovered next to their mama who got hit in the road🥺. They were rescued and given medical care and a safe space to recover and play. 😻

"Bartholomew is a cuddly boy. He loves to be held and carried around. He also loves playing with his brothers but he's definitely a full-time biscuit maker. Balthazar is quiet but always playing with Barnabas. He's the best climber and a little bit more independent than the other 2 but he still loves pets and cuddles. Barnabas was the runt (not anymore tho😂) of the litter and is the most adventurous of the 3. He's a foodie and always first inline for food time. He's generally playing with Balthazar or one of our bigger cats, he's not afraid of anything. " -Their Loving Foster

Rockette is a beauty. She is a Russian blue mix. Most people are not allergic to a Russian blue cat. Even though she has white on her, her blue is blue and not tabby. She has a really sweet personality. She loves to play with other cats. She may be a little shy at first but she is absolutely wonderful with people and other animals. She is in a foster home now, but would love to be in a forever home. Please help her find a home. Consider adopting this beautiful girl

This is Elysa. She is one of the sweetest cats in the world. She was pregnant and was either inside a house when they demolished it or just outside it. She had her kittens shortly after that and when they were born, the foster mom had to wash her belly because it was full of dirt from the demolition in order for the kittens to eat. Her babies were born prematurely and did not live very long. She has been spayed and she is ready to find a home of her own. She loves to sit on laps and she looks at her foster mom with the most loving eyes ever. She truly deserves a home. She is an amazing cat. She is a tiny cat. She loves to play and lay in the sunlight in front of a bright sunny window.

This is beautiful Merida. She is a beauty. The cute thing about her is that she has one white whisker. It shines like a candle in the dark. She has been waiting for a forever home. She is in a foster home now and is a great lap cat. She has a fantastic purr and she loves people and gets along with cats. She has been around dogs and her foster home and they get along fine. Ember is still waiting!!!!’

Take a look at this senior beauty. She was outside at a house trying to get in to a warm place. She was out in the country where there are lots of coyotes and foxes. The lady that lived in the house said she didn't like cats and she was definitely not going to let her come in. The really sad part is that ember is most likely around 12 years old and she is front declawed. She had no defense and was outside foraging for food. She is one of the cutest kitties when she meows. It sounds like she's saying hello. Trying to get our attention, she says hello, hello, hello. She seems to be able to get along with other cats, and truly is a delight. She's a beautiful patch tabby and she would make a wonderful pet for your household. She would be a good companion and would be thrilled to have a home and a family. She is a sweetheart. Can you give her a place to lay her head down and know she is home??

CHILI is CHILL…..

So you’ve been wanting to add a Maine C**n mix kitty to your family? Well look at this G O R G E O U S lady!!! This is Chili who was rescued with her seven, yes seven, beautiful long-haired kittens from a shelter. She was given up because no one wanted her and her babies. Fortunately Paws on my Heart Rescue has been caring for Chili and her kittens. The little ones have found homes, and now mama needs her forever. Chili is a one year old brown tabby, spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, tested, and foster loved. When she settles in, she is friendly and loving! It’s Fall and everyone needs Chili!!

Hello fellow cat enthusiasts! We need your help to find a forever home for two adorable cats who wish to stay together. These kitties, Ivy and Indigo, were rescued from Roatan and brought to Indy by a kind-hearted traveler through Flight Angels of Roatan. Ivy is a super loving and affectionate lap cat, while Indigo is a bit more independent and takes some time to warm up, but once he does, he'll snuggle and rub against your legs. Both are great with kids! With their big, beautiful ears and tiny bodies, these cats will always remain small and cute. Please help us spread the word and find a loving home where Ivy and Indigo can stay together!
