If you don't recognize CEC...LOTS of improvements underway!! Completely re-doing outdoor arena: base/footing(with TruTek)/fencing. Proper dry lot with no climb fence and future covered round pen!!! New siding to historic barn, expanded parking, etc....and more to come in spring....

Welcome Delaney Wright with WrightChoiceFarms to Carmel Equestrian as our full time trainer, instructor, barn manager! We are over-the-top excited to have Delaney's experience, talent and positive vibes leading our growth! Delaney brings extensive showing experience in the Hunter/Jumper/Equitation rings and has learned from and worked for top trainers as an assistant trainer in CA, FL, and in the North East...Michael Tokaruk, Rick Fancher, Kyle Timm, Kyle Dewar and Robert Blanchette. She grew up in Oklahoma working hard in barns, braiding, hauling big rig trailers, and overall, earning the respect of all around her with her horsemanship skills and work ethic. I met Delaney ten years ago when my son Drew and daughter Kate also qualified for the Emerging Athletes Program for Atlanta, GA. CEC is proud to have Delaney leading the growth of the beginner to advanced and show program options.

Horse boarding & riding lessons 11801 River Rd, Carmel IN 317.777.1119

Carmel Eq Center is a family owned, peaceful barn for the pleasure rider and their family! We are open every day with the same care and turnout provided daily. Lessons are given daily by our very experienced, talented instuctors Laura Gageby (317.501.3540) and Michelle Davies (317.640.6260). Horsemanship is emphasized with before / after lesson horse care. Lessons have a maximum of 3 riders at a time so boarders are able to ride at any time. For those riders looking for a more advanced show level lesson, we haul to our trainer, Robert Mendoza, at least twice a month. For those looking for trail riding buddies there are several boarders here to join!

The Arnold kids, Drew and Kate, are an integral part of Carmel Eq Center. Both have attended extensive horsemanship and riding clinics at the Regional and National level with the USHJA Emerging Athletes Program. They have riden under Olympic Medalists and worked under barn managers that have cared for top equine athletes. Drew and Kate compete in the Hunter / Jumper circuits throughout the midwest and Florida with their exceptional trainer and coach Robert Mendoza.

The barn has been owned by the Arnold family since 2009. While it was for sale in 2016 it has been taken off the market with a focus of maintaining the quality, keeping labor manageable with less boarders, continuing property improvements and adding more family amenities (chicken coop under construction and future miniature donkeys and goats). CEC will remain in the Arnold family for the kids to manage and run their professional training businesses in the future.
