Last night was a wonderful evening as we celebrated the 2024 Show Season at the Annual IHJA AWARDS BANQUET! I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to Sarah Davis, Heather Vaught, Dawn Stumm, and the rest of the IHJA Board for their tireless efforts for putting on a fantastic event. I was also fortunate to have had the most handsome date for the evening, my dad, Steve Ooley, who kindly stepped in for my husband, Aaron Arnold. Thank you, Dad! I would like to extend a huge congratulations to all of the Talbot Street Farm, LLC. riders on an outstanding 2024 Show Season! I’m very proud of the Talbot Street Horses and Riders performing so well at WEC last week!!! It’s such a pleasure to see everyone’s hard work and dedication paying off!!!

Kristin Smith did an outstanding job of riding both in the show ring as well as preparing the horses for the show ring. I could not have made it through the show without her.
Aaron Arnold and Urias worked so hard up at the rings and back at the barn for us! Great job team!!!

Thank you to World Equestrian Center for putting on such a fabulous show!! Your team works so hard week in and week out to put on top class shows that always feel special and they are appreciated!!

I can’t wrap my mind around the fact that we lost this wonderful lady, my step-mom, Cindy Weaver Ooley, yesterday. She was kind, loving, caring, accepting, and sassy, and she is going to be greatly missed!!! She always made sure that Talbot Street Farm LLC. was decorated beautifully for every holiday! I love you Cindy, and will see you again one day.

HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to Talbot Street Rider, JULIA HENNEK, who WON 🥇the ETS Medal at the Tournament of Champions collegiate horse show hosted by The University of Findlay today!!! Julia bested high school riders from all over the country in a Medal class that consisted of a flat phase and an over fences phase! This was a complete surprise!! I received today this ribbon and letter in the mail from the United Hunter Jumper Association. My horse, Lucchese “Ollie,” was 3rd for 2023 in the Horse Of The Year standings for the United States Hunter Jumper Association for Zone 5 (Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio) in the USHJA 2’ Hunter Division!!!! Ollie was piloted throughout the season by Talbot Street Rider, Victoria Brindley. This was Victoria’s first year of showing. Congratulations Lucchese and Victoria!! Way to go!!!
