**Day 2 at UKC Premier has been a success!!!!**

Emma did amazing in a HUGE class of juniors; she didn’t place but we’re still so proud of her and Faline.

Gatsby won her class then went on to win BEST OF WINNERS! This counts as one competition win towards her UKC CH title.

Faline got Reserve in her Champions class today and another qualifying score in rally, placing her 5th out of over 20 dogs AND qualifying her and Emma for TOTAL DOG!!!

They showed beautifully in a huge group for Total Dog with no placement but still a huge accomplishment.

We are so proud of our Sterling Valley pups.

🌟 Our first time ever at the UKC Premier and we are loving it! 🌟

Faline and Emma gave their all in a HUGE juniors class of 24! Though they didn't place, they looked amazing. ✨

Gatsby shined, winning her puppy class and BOW! 🏆

Faline took first in her Champions class, competing against some LOVELY Champion Goldens. 🥇

Faline and Emma breezed through their first attempt at rally, scoring an impressive 94! 🎉

Gatsby and I gave it our best shot but narrowly missed a qualifying score. Not bad for our first try! 🐾

Our dogs are more than just a part of our breeding program; they're our family. 😊 Today, we're simply enjoying our dogs and this wonderful breed. Both Valentine and Gatsby had a spa day, and we're incredibly grateful for all the friends we've gained through our dogs. Thank you to everyone! 🐾🏆 Gatsby and Valentine showed off their speed and agility at the White River Golden Retriever Club’s FastCat, proving that the apple doesn't fall far from the tree as Val is Gatsby’s mother, and Hudson, her dad, also joined in the fun! But the excitement didn't stop there! Niko and Daisy, litter mates to Gatsby, along with their proud parents, added to the thrill. We had a mini family reunion! Every pup gave their all, and we couldn't be prouder of our extended fur family! 🐾💖

It’s moments like this that we truly appreciate our Sterling Valley family. Meeting amazing people and introducing them into various dog sports. Have fun with your pups!

Though we were bummed by Val not being pregnant 😔, we are taking full advantage of the season with her! 🌸 It’s only April, and she just ran at her second FastCat event of the year 🏃‍♀️. Two weeks ago, we were able to attend our local FastCat event with Val, Hudson, and THREE of their puppies! 🐾 We appreciate our puppy families so much and love seeing others enjoy sports with their dogs. 🐕💨

His sire and Dam have all health clearances OFAs hips, elbows, and eyes

Both sire and dam are ASCA CH with multiple AKC performance titles

Lichen has finished his UKC CH, and would make a lovely pet or performance home. This boy loves to please!!!

We were waiting for today to celebrate miss Molly’s life, then we realized Molly's true birthdate was April 4th, a mix-up we'd been celebrating for years 🤦🏻‍♀️.

Molly, a cornerstone of our breeding program and Emma's loyal service dog, brought comfort in many scary moments. Despite an early retirement due to pregnancy complications, Molly thrived in her golden years in Washington with Sean's mother, Mary. They treasured walks on the beach and exploring their quaint town together. In February, a lump raised concern, and sadly, Molly was diagnosed with lymphoma. At almost 12 years old, treatment wasn't viable, and we focused on keeping her comfortable. Less than two weeks after her diagnosis, Molly peacefully passed away. Her absence leaves a void, but we'll forever cherish her memory and the joy she brought.

Rest in peace, Sterling Valleys Unsinkable Molly.

🐾 Big shout out to the incredible Markie at Platinum Paws! She worked wonders on Faline, despite her current coat challenges. Female dogs like Faline often lose a lot of their coat after having a litter, but Markie made her look absolutely fabulous, even with less fur to work with. Give Faline just a couple of months, and she'll be rocking a stunning coat once again! Thanks, Markie, for your magic touch and dedication to making our furry friends look their best! 🌟 🐶✨

We wanted to share some news with our beloved community today. While we were eagerly anticipating announcing a pregnancy confirmation between Valentine and Vandal, unfortunately, the breeding did not result in puppies. Although we're disappointed, we're choosing to focus on the positive. This means more time to dedicate to training and competing with Valentine this spring and summer since she won't be whelping puppies. We're grateful for your support and excited to announce our plans to breed her to Vandal in the next heat cycle. Thank you for being a part of our journey! ❤️🐶
