Keep your pets safe this summer. Temperatures are on the rise! Check the pavement before heading out for a walk by placing your palm on the pavement for 7-10 seconds if it's too hot for you it's too hot for their paws!

Super short clip from yesterday's lesson with Dayna working on reactivity on her balcony. She barks at people and dogs when they walk by which makes it hard to enjoy time on the balcony for her owners. She is learning to make better choices. She shows improvement each time I work with her. So proud of her and her owners!

Had 2 great lessons at Home Depot today. Both pups are training/prepping for their CGC Certifications so they can go on to become Therapy Dogs. Video on the left is Rosie, the right is Zoey. So proud of these girls and their owners for the hard work and dedication.

So proud of how far Kenai has come with training. When I first met him he was a puller, a jumper and a leash biter. He has excelled at learning his cues and has such great manners on leash now. So proud of this big, sweet, strong boy!! Teri Grimont ❤️

Keep your pets safe during this heat! If it's too hot for you to be bear foot on pavement it is too hot for your dog's paws to be on pavement. Walk your dogs in the morning before temperatures rise and in the evening when it cools down. Stay safe and cool everyone!
