Last week I rescued a quail someone found in their backyard and we named him Pearl. 😍 He was very quiet and mellow and after two days of him not eating and acting a bit weak I started him on some antibiotics. After just a day he was eating and drinking and crowing! So I was happy and thought all was good. Well it turns out the poor boy also has bumblefoot in both feet 😢 So now he’s having a foot soak so we can do some triage. I hope this helps, he’s such a nice boy! 😍

This is Owl. She is a super sweet girl with some disabilities. She’s a pure bantam Ameraucana with lots of wild type leakage and a ridiculous will to live. Since she was about 2 weeks old she has had issues walking and I thought I was going to lose her. She has a best friend (an EE boy) with a broken hock, and they love each other and support each other. If there’s anyone out there with the time and heart, Owl and her bestie would be forever in your debt. ❤️❤️ DM to discuss.

I just had to share…I’m proud of my creation I made last week, so I have an outside grow out coop for the babies! Used a lot of scrap wood and a garden box as the base. ☺️
