Yesterday, we shared a photo of Rocket - the cute outdoor kitty who tested positive for Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) during his exam with us.
While Feline Leukemia statistically shortens a cat's lifespan, many FeLV+ cats live for several years without knowing anything is wrong, especially if they are kept indoors to minimize exposure to secondary infections.
We'll be working with Rocket's owner to monitor his condition and treat any symptoms that may develop - our goal is to keep him happy and healthy for as long as possible!
Watch our video to learn more about FeLV and its symptoms and prevention.

Spring is here at last - at least technically!
Our pets can suffer from seasonal allergies just like us. If you notice any of these warning signs, bring your pet in for a visit. We'll alleviate any discomfort your pet may be dealing with while reducing the risk of more serious problems.
